The White Zone

[Gifted]

Cristel stops shooting ater and she and Yaz run over to the plant and pry it's petals open. They yank the blue thing out. "It's a fake," Cristel was about to fling it away in disgust, but Yaz caught her hand. "Everything here could be possibly useful,"
Suddenly the ground shakes, and the volcano almost erupts. "Uh oh," Cristel says. "What if it's in the volcano?"

[Sparrow]

The ground quakes again, birds begin fleeing the island sounding their panic calls. Large strange raptor-like birds, standing about nine feet tall, run past them. However one stops and leaves its flock. It watches the two turning its head to the side to focus one eye on them. Seemingly, it seems interested in the blue object. It makes a calm whistling sound.

[Raven]

Alexis Travel (pronounced TRAH-vel not travel) looks around the room, fidgetting with her pocket as the voice of her half-brother speaks to her. Him and her parents were really the only people she got along with even moderately. Raised as the Princess of Lef, she had never really met people her own age. Only her brother, exactly a year old than her, had been there to socialize with. Her private tutors, babysitters, and playmates acted nice only so that her parents would pay them. Now Alexis frowned, then looked at the cube. "What if I pick the cube they're all on?" she asked, defiantly.

[Gifted]

Cristel patted the birds head, wondering if it would let her ride it. Yaz turned into a seagull to fly along side.

[Sparrow]

“Then you will go to the most difficult zone on the cube.” The voice says evenly.

The bird lowers itself to allow Cristel to get on.

[Gifted]

Grinning, cristel mounted it. She knew how to position herself to ride pretty much any creature, having ridden Yaz so often in various forms. "C'mon, we need to get closer to the volcano," she said in a kind voice to the bird.

[Raven]

Alexis scowled. "Okay, then. I choose the black bar."

[Sparrow]

The bird makes a sharp squawk before swiftly running towards the volcano. Several minuets later they reach the foot of the volcano. The sides are all steep, almost vertical. the bird passes back and fourth a few times before jumping up onto the side. It latches on and begins climbing up the face. It reaches the top after several minutes. The lip of the volcano is about nine feet wide. The bird leans down for Cristel to get down. Over the middle of the volcano is a rope bridge. However it is hidden in the smoke.

“Very well the choice is made. I wish you luck on your trial.” The voice says calmly.
Black bars appear on the rooms walls. Suddenly Alexis is in a pitch black room. Water can be heard dripping. The floor is covered with puddles.
“Find your symbol.” The voice says after a moment.
Rapid footsteps are heard as something rushes past behind her.

[Raven]

Alexis reaches in her pocket and grabs a penny. She snaps it in her fingers and it starts to glow. She turns to see who - or what - is behind her.

[Sparrow]

A rabbit sized shadow passed by the light and hides behind a cluster of rocks. Now that there is light it appears that the walls are covered with a moving substance. Several bats flees from the light, passing overhead.

[Raven]

Alexis raises the penny and walks slowly towards the shadow.

[Gifted]

Cristel got off the bird. "Thanks," she said to it, stroking its head again. "Yaz, since you can fly, can you test the ope bridge? Only it might not really be there and I don't want us to fall into the volcano,"
Yazermen nodds and tried to land on the rope on the right side in the middle of the bridge.

[Sparrow]

When she approaches the creature appears very rabbit like.
It is holding something in its front paws, and is sitting upright. When the light shines on it faint dark vapors are seen coming off it. It turns to look at her, the light reflects off of its large white eyes. However instead of running it sits there watching her.

The bridge creaks loudly, even from the light weight. The strong wind current from the volcano makes the bridge unsteady. Down in the volcano a blue object can be seen glowing through the smoke. This is the real symbol.

[Gifted]

"I see it!" Yaz called. "But niether of us would survive the heat down there!"
Cristel, even though she doubted it would work, shot water into the volcano.

[Raven]

"Hey, just wondering, Mr Voice Guy Who Sounds Like My Brother, do I have to touch the symbol or just see it?"
