The squirrel shutters and runs off, Nix quickly runs into the forest.
“What do you wish to do?” Host adds on.
The symbol comes to the shore.

Cristel, smiling, leaned over and plucked the symbol off the shore, confident now she wouldn't touch the water.

The symbol does not set off the trap.
“I have a feeling you’ll go all the way in this.... Game. I wish you luck.” Cicerone says happily then nods. He hops off of Cristel’s shoulder and calmly stands.
“Just a tip, never listen to what Host says about anything involving the symbols. I did, now I’m trapped here. Rumor is that when the last level is passed all the captives will be freed; I have seen a lot of people pass through this place, so I assume that it’s not a true rumor...”

"Okay, thanks." That actually made some sense. The Host had played up her face-off with the dragon thing like it was a battle, but the trick there had been to avoid confrontation and talk to it rather than attack. "And who knows? Maybe nobody's ever beaten it before, maybe thats why you cant get out. Maybe if I win this thing you'll be set free" She smiled at the llittle mouse.

Cicerone smiles and nods,
“It would be great if everyone could get out of this place. Thank you for your concern.” He bows slightly then looks back to the side at a port not to far away.
“I must leave before Host comes, I wish you luck.”
Quickly he scampers off to the port and looks back to her, then smiles once more and dives in.
The room gets slightly darker,
“Well it seems you avoided confrontation and got the symbol anyway, are you ready to continue?” Host asks calmly the tone of voice seems a bit less happy-go-lucky then before.

“Well fine then.” Host says harshly.
In a flash Cristel and Yaz are back in the room, however the balance of the room is tilted far to the right. Periodically the room dims.
The cube is spinning and shooting off small white flashes and is making an electric grinding sound.
“You may wait for the other competitor if you wish. Or you may go to face boss one now.” Host says calmly.
(Raven got the symbol so that zone is cleared.)

"I'll continue now, thanks." Alexis couldn't help but recall her brother's comment about being the one to marry the princess of Veroneth the night before. Or had more time passed? If someone came to check on her while she was in here, what would she look like? Would she appear asleep? Was there another part of her consciousness that was controlling her there? Or was she dead? She shivered at that last thought. Was it possible she would never see her family again?

“Very well.” Host says calmly.
In a flash Alexis is ported back to the room, the balance has the same effect of being tilted slightly to the right.
“Now that the other competitor is here you may continue on to level one’s boss.”
The room dims slightly,
“I’d take your time to rest before continuing. You may want to know about the shop before you go on.” Host says calmly.
((You are both in the same room just so you know.))

“Oh yes the shop. You didn’t think you were gathering symbols for nothing did you?” Host says calmly.
Several columns in a row shine down from bright spots on the ceiling; twelve spots remain gray and have no column. There are five columns of pain yellow light.
An object appears in each beam; a long rope, a small bag of purple flakes, a dagger, a coiled snake, and a book.
In order, each column has a number written in pail green light; 1, 1, 2, 3, 3.
“The more symbols you acquire the more you can purchase to help you for the next levels. You can save your symbols, or lump them together, which would unlock the next few columns.”
After a short pause Host adds on,
“This is just to give you aid, you will not need the symbols to buy your way out of the game. Currently competitor one has two symbols, competitor two has three. ”
"You may be wondering why neither of you went to the red square zone. Or you may not have noticed." Host adds on several seconds later.
