Sabrina gasped as she heard Ryuk's newest command. He was telling his pokemon to attack each other!

Lanturn was thrown directly at Manectric, and hit him with enough force that Manectric let go of Tyranitar. The two skidded across the cobblestones, and Manectric snapped at Lanturn before leaping to his feet, leaving Lanturn to flop around helplessly.
James hit the ground when Ryu told Tyranitar to use Hyper Beam, covering his head with his hands. "Manectric!" he yelled from his prone position, "Get out of the way with Lanturn!" Before James finished the sentence, Manectric grabbed Lanturn's tail, and leaped out of harm's way--straight into Ryuk. James looked up, and sighed. Manectric's hindquarters were singed by the Hyper Beam, and Lanturn was hyperventilating, but Manectric's speed had saved them... No telling what Ryuk would do about it, though.
"S-sorry!" James called.

After being knocked down Ryuk quickly got up and scrambled away smirking and spoke out to Raven," Steel wing trick shot." Raven nodded as its wings grew silver and sparkled, the hyper beam collided into her wings and reflected off towards the two electric Pokemon.

"Dodge it!" shouted James, panicking, "Dodge it, dodge it!"
Manectric bolted out of the way, fangs crackling with electricity, while Lanturn simply glared at the wolf, a "you traitor" look evident on his face. James winced, and pulled out Lanturn's Pokeball. "Return," he commanded weakly. The fish was returned into the Pokeball after the Hyper Beam nearly turned it into fish sticks.
Before the photographer could release his next Pokemon, Manectric leaped at Raven, snapping with electrified fangs. James fumbled in his backpack for a Pokeball, and threw out the first one he found. Pachirisu landed in the middle of the fray, posed like a ballerina. The minuscule squirrel looked up at Tyranitar, and waved happily.
What have I done. James shook his head. "Pachirisu, Sweet Kiss!" he yelled. Pachirisu happily obliged by trying to climb up Tyranitar and plant a small kiss on its cheek.

Raven fell limp into the ground and let one one weak caw, Ryuk returned her to her poke ball and spoke," Thank you Raven, Have a nice rest." He reached to his belt and sent out his next Pokemon, which tilted its head to its opponents. "Go ahead and give Pachirisu your own kiss Tyranitar, Crunch, Cacturne avenge Raven with an energy ball." Tyranitar opened its mouth wide as Pachirisu climbed up its torso, while Cacturne looked at Manetric and spoke in a low deep voice," Cacturne" and fired a large green ball of energy.

Pachirisu squealed in fright when Tyranitar opened its mouth, revealing very, very sharp teeth. She nearly tumbled to the ground, but grabbed onto Tyranitar's shoulder and held on for what seemed to be dear life. "Pachipachipachi!" she chittered, holding onto Tyranitar. Manectric dived away from the energy ball, which hit his already wounded tail.
"This guy's creepy," James mumbled to himself, "Not just him, but his Pokemon, too... Oh, um, Pachirisu, Super Fang, and Manectric, Fire Fang!"
Pachirisu opened her mouth as wide as she could, revealing a single sharp tooth. She tried to bite hard into the Tyranitar's leathery skin, all the while maintaining a happy look. Manectric barked furiously, and leaped at Cacturne, fangs ablaze.

Tyranitar roared as Pachirisu's fangs dug into the shoulder and Cacturne tilted its head at Manetric and seemed to smile. " How about both of you give them something to chew on, Cacturne Poison jab, Tyranitar roll over and use Earthquake when the time is right." Cacturne watched as Manetric got closer and as a mixture of sand and mud flew past Cacturne he seemed to move instantly, just out of reach of his foe, he jabbed his hand into the open mouth of his enemy, purple liquid covering his spiked arm. Tyranitar flung himself toward the ground aiming at it with the shoulder that currently housed a squirrel biting him.

Manectric began choking when Cacturne shoved its spiky arm into his mouth. The dog backed up, retching, trying to get rid of the poison now spreading through his body. Once Tyranitar hit the ground, a tremor emanated from it, causing Manectric to fall. James was about to return Manectric when he gave him a fierce glare that said "I'm not giving up." James nodded, and stood by, trying to discern what was happening with Pachirisu.
The squirrel was currently being crushed under the gigantic dinosaur. She began crying like a child, trying to Charm the Tyranitar into getting up. Pachirisu kicked and squealed, trying to worm out from underneath the monster.
"Manectric, go help Pachirisu, but keep your eye on Cacturne!" shouted James. Manectric shakily stood up, and, with a loud howl, rushed Tyranitar. At the last moment, he leaped at Tyranitar, and rebounded off it, turning so that he was leaping towards Cacturne with flaming fangs. Not exactly what James had wanted, but it would do.

Cacturne seemed to wince in pain as it's shoulder was being engulfed by the pain of the fangs and fire, it slowly started falling forward, the needles on its arm extended and it hugged Manetric as it was falling down, a strange smile on its face. Tyranitar got off of Pachirisu slightly, only to fall down again with another earthquake. Ryuk simply smiled and held onto a light pole, he didn't even need to command his Pokemon right now.

Sabrina winced. Not only were James' pokemon getting beat, but the earthquakes were shaking her up as well. Ryuk was really starting to scare her and she hoped he wouldn't be around her much.

"For pete sakes, don't destroy the town!" she yelled. She shicered. Though this James kid seemed to have the average skill of any kid in her town, a bit of a pushover by her standards, though everyone else seems to think these types are good.
Buyt this Ryuk, on the other hand, was a hard core trainer who sent shivers up her spine. He was amazing. Teale couldn't wait to battle him herself. But at the same time, if they kept battling like this this town wouldn't survive the night. She debated sending a Pokemon of her own in there to break up the fight, since they clearly werent listening to her, but decided against it for now.

James wobbled unsteadily, attempting to regain his balance from the previous quake, and fell over when more tremors came his way, the lens cap falling off of his camera. While he was trying to put it back on, Manectric was having a panic attack. The electric wolf barked as it was pinned to the ground by Cacturne, its spines digging into Manectric's fur. Manectric snapped, sparks flying from its fangs. Pachirisu managed to dart out from underneath Tyranitar before the dinosaur fell down again. She chittered in fright as she crawled onto its tail. James stood up, camera repaired, and winced. The battle was getting too dangerous. As Teale had said, this wasn't an arena... He glanced at the statueless fountain and sighed. "Pachirisu! Manectric! Return!" A very unhappy wolf and scared squirrel were returned to their respective capsules, a frowning James holding a Pokeball in either hand. "You obviously have the stronger Pokemon," he admitted, raising his voice to be heard over the thunder, "As much as I hate to say it, she's right; if we go on like this, the town will be destroyed... You're a good trainer," the photographer added, smiling. Flaaffy, who had been hiding inside of a shrubbery the entire battle, crawled out. ~~~ A Chatot was perched atop the Pokemon Center, tilting its head occasionally. A black band was strapped around its neck with some sort of tiny camera attached to it. Far away, a figure was watching the battle intently from the camera feed. A smile played across its lips. |

Ryuk sighed before he spoke," I guess it would be a good idea to stop... at least we'll have an arena when we get there and I won't have to hold back at all. It was a nice match though." He held out his hand for James to shake after recalling his wounded Pokemon.

Teale, pleased, was about to say something when Haylee burst out of her Pokeball, babbling furiously.
"Alright Alright, I'm sorry I stuck you in there to long, now be quiet," Teale told her favorite pokemon as she picked Haylee up. She got a whack in the face with Haylees leaf for an awnser. "Hey now!" she warned, but Haylee just smiled at her and Teale rolled her eyes.

Flaaffy crawled up James' back, and was sitting on his shoulder when he shook his opponent's hand. "Glad we had the opportunity to battle before the tournament," James said, smiling. A brilliant flash lit up the dismal sky, followed by an almost instantaneous boom of thunder. Flaaffy welcomed the activity; her trainer didn't. He tightened his grip on the umbrella and looked towards the Pokemon Center.
"We should probably head in," the photographer added, "For our sake, in addition to our Pokemon's."
