Jamison sighed once more. "They're about your age," he said, a bit louder, "Talk about Pokemon. Ask them about their roster. Tell Vulpix to set one of them on fire, tell them you're sorry, and start a conversation from there. Gosh, Sabrina, you're so shy... Pikachu! Be nice!"

The yellow mouse was about to attack Raven with electricity when James yelled. Pikachu stopped producing sparks, and simply glared up at Honchkrow.

[Dokeshi]

The Honchcrow turned to the Pikachu and seemed to grin mockingly at it. Ryuk scratched th back of his head and bent down brushing her and speaking," It seems like Raven really wants to fight right now...anyone up for it?"

[Raven]

Sabrina shook her head quickly, stepping back from the huge bird. Vulpix and Eevee fled to hide behind her.

"Pikachu's definitely up for it," James observed, chuckling. At the mention of a battle, Pikachu's ears twitched, but he remained glaring at Raven. "We'd have to do it outside, though, since I doubt Nurse Joy wants the lobby destroyed... Gosh, I hate the rain..." He fiddled with his camera, making sure the zoom was working correctly.

As he did so, he whispered to Sabrina, "Go talk to the other girl. She looks to be about your age. Talk about the battle or something once it starts." James looked straight at his cousin, and smiled. "She's not a Sharpedo; she won't bite your head off."

[Dokeshi]

He smiled and then spoke again," Six on six? single or double?" he stretched and Raven hopped over to the door and started pecking at it.

It turned out Nurse Joy was busy with some kids Charmander, so Teale headed back over just in time to hear Ryuk mention a battle.
"I would, But this stubborn Chikorita is the staple of my lineup, I don't want to battle until I'm sure she's okay,"
"Chiko!" Haylee protested, but since James was going to battle, she did not fight to join in.
"Well this should be interesting," Teale said, smiling. It was almost cheating, seeing their tactics before she battled them, but she didn't expect the trainers here to be like the ones in town, so any little advantage would help.

"How about double?" James proposed, done messing with his camera, "Much less boring than single battles..." He glanced down at Pikachu. "I assume you don't want to battle with Flaaffy?"

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu whirled around to face James, waving his arms and shaking his head in a negative fashion. Flaaffy also bleated her dissent. James took this as a no, and opened the door. The rain showed no sign of letting up. He ducked back inside, and grabbed an umbrella near the entrance before going out. Pikachu followed behind, warily avoiding the Honchkrow.

Teale followed them out, though not before insisting that Haylee "Get back in your freaking Pokeball already"

Ryuk walked outside, holding a poke ball in his hand, Raven hopped ahead of him. The two were getting soaked and he looked towards James before speaking," I guess I'll go ahead and send out my second now." He threw the poke ball in his hand and a large Tyranitar appeared roaring, the ground around it started to swirl and sand was being kicked up into the air.

[Raven]

Sabrina sighed. "You probably want to get back in your pokeball, Pixel," she told her Vulpix. "Vuulpiiix," he seemed to whine. "You know it's raining and you can't stay in here; you'll end up burning the place to the ground," Sabrina said. Pixel twitched his ear in assent and was quickly returned to his pokeball before Sabrina scooped Eevee up in her arms and headed into the dreadful weather.

James popped open the umbrella, and tried to hold it in a position that allowed him to see the battle and not get drenched. When the sandstorm started brewing, it forced him into an odd position to avoid rain, sand, and mud. He dug a Pokeball out of his backpack, and pressed the button, releasing Lanturn. The fish landed in a nearby fountain, which was overflowing from the torrential rain. Pikachu climbed to the top of the fountain, resting on a statue's head.

"You first," James said, looking nervously at the Tyranitar.

[Dokeshi]

Raven flew over and perched itself on Tyranitar's head and cawed to the two electric pokemon. Ryuk looked to Tyranitar and uttered a few words," Stone edge if you would." Tyranitar roared again and stomped the ground, shards of the rock flew into the air and with a second roar launched like missiles toward the fountain.

[FoxTrott]

Lanturn made an "oh, sh--" expression when the rocks came speeding towards the fountain. It instinctively dived, only to hit the bottom of the shallow water. Pikachu leaped off the statue, avoiding the rocks but getting hit by shrapnel produced by the now-decimated stone statue. The mouse landed on his feet, sparks flying off of his cheeks. Lanturn cautiously surfaced, bits of stone raining down on it.

James held the umbrella in front of him like a shield to avoid being hit by the debris, eyes closed. "Pikachu, Double Team! Lanturn, quick, Flash!"

Pikachu shut its eyes before darting towards Tyranitar and Honchkrow. As Lanturn lit up the darkness with a stunning flash from its antennae, Pikachu seemed to multiply, its copies surrounding the opposing pair.

[Dokeshi]

The two pokemon, and Ryuk himself were blinded by the flash. Ryuk crouched and then held onto the ground before shouting out to Tyranitar," Earthquake" Tyranitar lifted its tail and slammed it on the ground with another roar, sending out a violent shockwave along the ground.

[Gifted]

"Hey now," Teale shouted. "You guys aren't in a pokemon arena, don't destroy the town!"
