"Fox, quit hyperventillating," she snapped. "Raven just hit her head, she'll be fine." Fox wasnt hyperventillating yet, but she was prolly gonna.

Fox didn't resist the hug from Rae, but did resist the temptation to bury herself in her.
"I'm sorry!" she shouted. Realizing how loud she spoke, Fox toned it down, and said, "I'm sorry, I was just... Really scared for a moment."

Rae stood back up and released Fox. She glanced over a Raven but didn't comment and, instead, sat down on the floor. "How was everyone's day?" she asked, watching her siblings as they recovered.

Fox quickly went from Rae to Raven, and sighed when she realized she was okay.
"You mean, aside from Raven scaring the crap out of me?" she asked, looking up at Rae, "My day's been pretty good... If you want to get rid of hiccups, Rave, just swallow a table spoon of vinegar! Well, that's what someone said to me, at least..."

"A more pleasent way is to lean over your cup of water and drink as much as you can from the edge furthest from you," Gifted said with a lighht laugh. "It always works for my old friends mom, anyways. Or you could go into Crows room again and scare the crap outta yourself, that's supposed to work too," Gifted laughed.

"Vinegar isn't that bad, Raven," Rae told her with a smile. "Or you could hold your breath. That works for me, but we don't want you dying or anything... Crow might blame himself." She poked her tongue out at her brother.

Raven took a deep breath, then held it. She smiled slightly. After she started turning slightly purple, she swollowed and breathed. "I have my own way. And it - thank God - doesn't have and vinegar. Nothing else I've tried ever works," she informed them.
