1x1 Apeture Science... Raven and Gifted

Laura stood up. She was almost freakishly tall, much taller than she'd looked sitting down. She walked through the portal.
The first test was fairly simple looking. A single large button on the floor, large enough to stand on. The button was connected to a closed door, with some sort of dispenser on the ceiling next to the door.

Caroline looked around for a long moment, then tried standing on the button.

The door opened, and a cube dropped down from the dispensor.
Laura looked for a long moment at the cube, then went over and picked it up. She brought it back to where Caroline was standing.

Caroline stepped off the button, figuring that was where the box should go.

[Gifted]

As she stepped off the button, the door closed. Laura put the box onto the button, holding the door open so they could both go through.
There was a short hallway on the other side of the door that led to an elevator. Right in front of the elevator the air looked distorted and a misty blue colour.
"Excellent" The robotic voice was back. "Please proceed to the chamberlock after completing each test. First, however, note the incandescent particle field across the exit.
This Apeture Science Material Emancipation Grid will vaporize any unauthorized equipment that passes through it - for instance, the Apeture Science Weighted Storage Cube."

Luna passed through the field and got into the elevator.

Caroline stared at the grid for a moment, as if deciding if it were safe. After a moment, though, she realized even if it weren't, she didn't want to stay here forever. So she passed through the grid.

She was fine.

The elevator raised them up to the next test.
It was a large room seperated into four chambers. One had the door in it, one had another button just like the last one, one you were standing in and one had a cube in it.
"Please place the Weighted Storage Cube on the Fifteen Hundred Megawatt Apeture Science Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button"

A bright Orange portal was set behind them. a blue portal was appearing in each room in regular intervals of about five seconds.

Caroline watched the portal for a minute, then stepped into it, right as it should appear in the room with the cube.

She stepped into the room with the cube in it, while Laura waited in the other room.

[Raven]

Caroline stepped forward and grabbed the cube, then waited for the portal to come back before going back to the main room. Then she went to the button and set the cube on it.

The door opened, and while Caroline was waiting for the portal to come back, Laura went through to wait by the door.
"Perfect." Said the voice over the intercom again. "Please move quickly to the chamberlock, as the effects of prolonged exposure to the button are not part of this test."

"What are the effects of prolonged exposure?" Caroline asked, somewhat scared as she continued down the hall.

[Gifted]

They got into the lift ad continued up to the next test.
"You are doing very well!" The robotic voice said as they reached the top. "Please be advised that a noticeable taste of blood is not part of any test protocol but is an unintended side effect of the Apeture Science Material Emancipation Grid which, in semi-rare cases, emancipate dental fillings, crowns, tooth enamel, and teeth."
There was a flight of stairs, and at the bottom was a dead end. The wall to your left had a small window without glass. through this window one could see a pair of white gun-like obects sitting on a rotating podium. Every time the podium rotated 90 degrees one of the guns would fire a dim blue light, which shot straight and opened a portal on a white wall.

Caroline was glad she had never had any such things, as the bright lights required to perform surgery would harm her more than any cavity. But tooth enamel and teeth? She shivered visibly was she walked down towards the dead end.

Laura looked visibly scared. She remembered what the Material Emancipation Grid was. It was the misty blue light that was in front of all the elevators. Passing through that might destroy everything in her mouth?
The gun shot a dim blue light through the small window as they reached it and opened a portal on the wall behind them. The portal opened onto a ledge. the door was right next to the portal and jumping off the ledge would bring you to the podium where the two guns were sitting.

Laura slipped quickly through the portal, then, after deliberating a moment, jumped off the ledge.
