Romanov didn't want to intrupt, so he walked a bit away. He violently coughed into his sleeve. When he finally stopped after about 2 minutes, his purple military suit was stained with red blood. He took off his commander's hat and whiped his head, which was covered in sweat. Putting the hat on, he walked back, trying to show no sign of distress, though, he obviously was in clear pain.

I turned my attention from Sparrow and Steve to the Major. "Are you alright?" I looked him up in down. He looked as if in pain, but the blood on his sleeve and the violent yet stifled coughing I heard couldn't have been good. I turned back to Sparrow, saying, "You must help this man! He's wheezing blood!"

"No.... No." he said, still slightly coughing. "I've had this problem for a while."

"If you'd allow for D-47 to examine you, he may find the problem." Sparrow says in a concerned tone.

"No need," stated Romanov, standing in stiff military fashion. "I already know what the problem is, and I've tried treatment, but nothing worked. I take pain mediaction already."

I frowned, saying, "Surely, that must be a terrible burden to bare. I hope you live a strong life regardless." I wasn't sure how I could show sympathy in any way, so I sighed, and turned back to Sparrow, with Detria standing behind her, obviously waiting to depart. "Is there any way we can repay you for your help?"

"There's no need to repay us." Sparrow says kindly. Steve nods in agreement.

Detria impatiently tapped Steve on the shoulder, saying, "I'd very much like to go to your country, but I can't wait to leave. How much longer will it take to load up the injured?" I scowled at her, angered. I tried to mouth something, but I knew it would look strange to Sparrow and Steve. So, I let him respond how he would, and promptly stepped forward, offering my hand to be shaken, saying, "Thank you. Thank you so much!" I looked over at the Major, and motioned for him to follow me into the wreckage, saying, "This way. I'll describe what the city looked like before the explosion, so you can estimate what will be needed for repairs."

Sparrow and Steve both shook his hand. Steve turns to Detria, "We'll leave most of the ships here so people can be treated more efficiently. We can leave for Epocheia now. Though you should probably know what your getting into..." He shrugs. "Guess we can fill you in on the way." He leads the way to an empty ship, Sparrow follows alongside. The ship has red fabric covering benches on either side of the ships interior, the carpet matches. The walls are painted with a peacock design.

Detria, amazed, gently rubbed the peacock designs, and said, "This..... Transport is amazing! Now, down to brass tacks." (<Always has wanted to use that in context) She said, taking a seat on one of the benches. "What exactly am I, as you put it, getting into by coming to Epocheia?"

Steve looks to Sparrow, seeing if she wanted to be the one to explain. Sparrow smiles and sits on the bench across from Detria, waiting for Steve to explain this time. Steve nods and sits next to Sparrow. "Well, you see. Epocheia is not a routinely safe place. It's quite hostile at times. While you're at the capital, Eon, you'll have to where a respirator to filter out synth weed pollen to ensure you don't become infected. A virus plagues the island, every permanent inhabitant is infected, including Sparrow and myself. We all have to take regimens of medication to keep the illness at bay. If left without medication for any amount of time, especially while under stress, the virus will take hold. It's symptoms are blurred vision, loss of memory, loss of balance, sore throat, coughing, coughing up red fluid, confusion, and extreme aggression. Essentially, left without medicine, chronic zombieisem takes place." The ship's ramp seals shut and the ship begins to pull out into the shallows, using the oars as legs. Steve continues, "Epocheia is also hostile excluding the virus. There are many predatory animals, though the city is relatively safe. People are cautioned against leaving the city on their own as these animals will go after humans. As will the...... well, zombies. We're trying to find a cure, for now at least we have a temporary treatment." he explains. After a moment he says, "If you have any questions about Epocheia, we will do our best to answer them."

Detria's interest was peaked. She had just had her home blown to kingdom khan, so she felt she had nothing to lose. A mindset like that meant she was eager for danger. "I see. Have you ever tried to hunt these extremely hostile animals, or, as you said, zombified citizens? It sounds like it will benefit the communities a great deal."

"Were hoping to treat the zombified citizens. In worse case scenarios we do take them down." Steve explains. "As for the animals. Some, yes, we do hunt down. Keep the populations down around the city. Others... Well, not many like the risk involved." Sparrow nods in agreement, "Especially the ones in the chasm." she chimes in. Steve nods. "Yes, the ones down there are something you wouldn't want to run into. Thankfully they can't get to the city."

Detria's thoughts only inspired more ideas of danger. "So, all the citizens take special medicine for this strange pollination. What is city life like in the cities? I ask because I'll likely want to do some sight seeing. It's truly an honor to become an ambassador out of the blue."

Steve lets Sparrow answer this one. Sparrow smiles, "Well, city life is relatively safe. Alarms go of if a raid is coming. There are shops and districts. While there you'll stay in the main hotel. It's the tallest building. Most people come out at night, since it's cooler and less haze blinding. The sun sometimes reflects off the pollen, making it hard to see. A lot of the light given at night is by firefly lanterns. There's quite a lot to do. And as an ambassador, you'll be allowed access to practically anywhere. Just not rooms with black doors. The have problems locked inside." The ship has rowed out far enough to dive. It folds its oars to its sides and dives under. It weaves back and forth like a snake or eel.
