"My people! Today, we stand! We stand strong! United! Unmatched! We are the children of Xefos, and we shall rule all!" The crowd thundered with barbarous cheering, beastly shouts and frightening chest pounding. The final stand had been made in the Tarubean civil war, and the south had been conquered. The tribes of the north stood atop the corpses of the southerners, and beside those who had surrendered in peace. "Our division no longer inhibits our strength! We are one, and we are invincible!" I shouted at the top of my lungs into the raging and hysterical crowd. I had acted as the alleged Prophet of the North, and as the general who conquered the Southerners. My unity of the forty tribes of northern Tarubia bolstered my armies, allowing me to conquer the few strongholds of the south along with the countless scattered nomads. I had brough the war that raged for a decade to a final close, and now I stood as the leader of my people. All my brothers that had fought against me had either died or wisely laid down their arms in the presence of my warriors. Now, the north and south were unsegregated. I had brought peace to my new nation, Tarubia. Now, the time of regression and misery was ended, and peaceful prosperity would come within my boundaries.
Or so I thought. I lay asleep, my chamber dark and quiet. Then, a terrible vision plagued my dreams. A fury of a thousand sons shattered a land far away, beyond the great oceans. I woke with a start, and rushed to the altar of Xefos, to pray.

As I entered the altar room, I halted my pace and bowed humbly to the statue of Xefos. I hustled to the altar and dropped to my knees. I close my eyes, balled my hands, and asked desperately, "Why do you show me these events? Why do you frighten me with such divine destruction? Great Xefos, I humbly ask of thee. What purpose have you for showing me the fury of a thousand suns?" Faster than I could have predicted, a wave of response choked me for a moment. I couldn't breathe for a moment, and I saw it. The warriors of a land called Amestris had attacked the nation of Froli with a weapon that summoned an ungodly wrath. I saw all of this, and wept at the blood shed. "Oh great All-Mother, we must give peace to those in need and avenge the dead. Where are these people?" I felt the answer, and I felt the waves of the ocean surrounding me. "But, we cannot make the journey across the waters. How do we find these people? How can they find us?" Xefos's message was clear. My vision blurred, and I saw a mountain erupt and thunder, the earth shaking and rattling. A great seismic cataclysm was to rupture our land, and the peoples of the west would certainly turn attention to here. I grimaced, and shivered. Xefos's presence left me, and I knew that a great sundering was coming, and soon. "I hope my kingdom is unharmed in this signal. I beg for mercy, oh great All Mother." But, the comfort of our goddess left me. I breathed heavily, and returned to my chambers. "I beg of you...." I whispered, as I lied awake.

I awoke, the night previous seeming like a bad dream. I donned my leopard skin robes and newly fashioned crown. The crown was a beauty I didn't deserve, but my councilmen thought it a good symbol of hierarchy and leadership. Crafted of silver and studded with topaz and sapphire, I put it on, unsure what to make of it. I paraded into the street, where the rubble of the battle only two months ago was all but cleaned away. Many new buildings lined the streets, and a community of great size populated the paths crisscrossing the alleyways. A peddler there, a cleric here. I watched as my subjects all silently contributed to a thriving and growing kingdom. Marveling at my happy and healthy subjects was easy enough, but I had the most tedious chores to attend to. I didn't care if I was the High Prophet and King of Tarubia, I just wanted a day to relax and admire what I'd accomplished. All the same, a carriage came forward, and a stout man motioned for me to enter as he exited. "Your transport, High Prophet." I scowled at him. "Arberoth, stop addressing me as royalty. As brothers, you can call me by name." Arberoth grinned, saying, "I just thought a noble greeting would amuse you. Alright, now stop fooling around, we have a meeting to attend with the Sydnerion." I sighed, wishing I could simply watch the seas for a day, but then reluctantly climbed into the carriage. After a short trip, we arrived at the glorious Meeting Hall. I loathed every trip here, because it meant I had to deal with the corrupted politicians of my Council. We entered, and I sat promptly at the head of the table, my twelve councilors garbed in their finest clothing. "Good day to you all. I suppose we should get to business right away. But, before I begin, I have grave news for the lot of you. Believe me if you will, don't believe me if you wish, but listen closely. I had a vision the night before, and it shocked me to discover that a nation across the sea has been bombarded with a weapon of hellfire. Now, don't be alarmed, but the great Xefos has informed me that she will draw the attention of the Western nations with a momentous eruption from a mountain in our land. I'm not sure if it will harm our people, but I wanted to warn all of you, so you can prepare." When he finished, the table of Sydnerion burst into laughter, except the representative of the city state Enkateleip, Detria. She had a solemn look on her face, and then she pounded the table with her fist, exclaiming, "Xefos damn you all for your ignorance! You take a warning of dire magnitude and treat it like a joke! You should all be ashamed!" She huffed and panted, then regained her composure and sat quietly. I cleared my throat, trying hard not to applaud her fit of rage. "Thank you, Detria, for that....wonderful clarification. I seriously hope you took what she said into serious consideration." I could hear silent murmurs, such as, "...What could a woman possibly know about...." or, "...Spawn of demons over in Enkateleip....." I knew the council was displeased with the outburst, but I admired Detria's boldness and vigor. I tapped the table for a moment, the tense silence beginning to strangle me, then I blurted, "Perhaps we should move our possessions and families to more secure and non mountainous locations, for simple precaution." Many doubtful and angered looks shot my way, but I could see Detria nod in agreement. I had a single councilor who agreed with everything I said and worshiped the All Mother the same way I did, and she just so happened to be the most stubborn and hard-headed woman, or even person, that I had ever met. Maybe mercy from the cataclysm isn't what I should be asking for the men of the Sydnerion, but rather from the wrath of Detria. I smiled, and the palpable hatred of my words quickly subsided, allowing the redundant meeting of the Sydnerion to continue.

Detria nibbled on the exotic fruit she could not remember the name of. She admired the strong men sparring in the courtyards below, her breath taken away by their strength. Even if she watched every man who ever entered the courtyards of the palace, love was a luxury her career would not allow. She sighed, her heart swollen and aching. She knew her strength would have to surpass her desires, but she wanted a simpler life. One that she could choose. She looked at the peak of the mountain, wishing she could stand tall and unopposed, just like it. Then, in a short moment, the predicted sundering of the land occurred. The room shook, and the city appeared to shiver in front of her. Just then, the cool night air surged with heat as the mountain quaked and cracked, then exploded tremendously. She jumped up and rushed down the stairs, into the palace dungeons. She knew that safety was almost impossible with such a tremor, but she didn't know what to do, what to think. She could only run, and pray she lived through the destruction. She knelt in the basement, and whispered hurriedly, "Xefos, All Mother. I beg of thee. Grant me safety until the cataclysm passes. Give me sanctity." She collapsed, frightened to death by the shaking room. She curled into a ball, sobbing, too scared to do anything but cower. The cataclysm raged. The plate in the center of the Eastern Continent shook the whole world. In that moment, everyone would know about the devastation caused by Mt. Megathirio.

(Gonna post here instead of Epocheia for simplicity. ) A computer picked up the distant quake and sounded an alarm. A scientist quickly approached the monitor and turned the screen on. "Wow, that was a big one." he mutters. Quickly he gets on compact radio and contacts a guard. "Alert Sparrow that there has been a high magnitude earthquake in the East. I think it was an eruption." There is a moment of silence, he considers repeating himself, then an answer comes through. "On it." the female voice replies. The scientist sighs and leans back in his chair. "Lets hope this place wasn't populated..." With that, he began rechecking the readings. Sparrow arrived soon after, Steve by her side. "What happened?" she asked quickly. "Huge eruption in the east." the scientist replied. Sparrow looked over the readings. There were devastating by the looks of it. "Any idea if there's a population?" "No clue." "We'll go anyway. Set up a small fleet of medical personal. Including D-47." "Will do." "Send an Orb ahead of us." "Alrighty." He swiftly typed in a code, an Orb responded quickly, receiving the orders. Sparrow added one last thing. "Come on, your coming too." "Alrigh- Wait what?" "We need your .... youness." she shrugged at the word. He reluctantly but quickly got up and followed, bringing a laptop. The fleet is readied, twelve ships, each resembling a peacock feather print eel or snake. They set out deep under water, like submarines, heading for the torrents that would lead them there. The orb flies several hundred feet in the air, getting a good view point. It takes off, reaching high speeds. It would defiantly get there before the fleet. It made record time reaching the destination. The surrounding temperature changes greatly from area to area. It opens it's red lens to view the landscape far below. Its altitude makes it appear to be a small reflective silver dot in the sky. This changes as soot and ashs quickly start to collect on its surface.

I looked at the devastation of the volcano from about 60 kilometers away. I had a hunch that Mt. Megathirio would be the catalyst of destruction, but I didn't know it would erupt so soon. The sky was black with soot and smoke. We arrived in short order, only to witness the miserable ruins that remained of Enkateleip. "No. No!" I could barely speak. The half of the city-state that wasn't drowned in molten lava had been crumbled by the tremors. "The capital city is untouched in comparison to this tradegy...." I whispered. I looked at the toppled governor's house, ready to cry. My only friend in the Sydnerion council lived, and most likely, died in that building. I walked there silently. I didn't care if the aftershocks killed me or the soot choked me to death. I just had to look for survivors. Just then, from the relatively unharmed foundation of the palace, emerged Detria. I saw her, frightened and shaken to the core, drop to her knees and cry. Her city had been lost. Over 1,500 citizens of Tarubia had unquestionably died. If any survived, they were likely injured beyond saving. She was the only one who met the Leviathan's wrath and emerged physically unscathed. I looked at the sky once more, the sobbing woman too much for me to bare. Then, I saw it. A glittering silver shined in the sky for a moment, then disappeared behind a plume of ash. If Xefos's will was to bring forth outsiders through destruction, she had kept her word. I collapsed as well, and prayed that the countless dead may rest in peace.

The Orb recorded the devastation and sent it to the laptop the scientist had brought. Sparrow and Steve watched with worried expressions at the footage received. The orb continues on it's sweep, then spots something. Two people on the ground, it was unsure if they were alive. It rapidly drops altitude and slows inside a plume of ash. It floats down slowly, soot clouding its surface somewhat. Once about five feet away it hovers besides them silently.

Detria slowly calmed, her profuse sobbing reduced to short gasps. She stood up, and rubbed the tears from her eyes. She looked around. Not spotting her father or brother, she felt disheartened and scared to an even greater extent. Then she saw me, deep in prayer. I guess she spotted something else, though, for I could barely hear her run past me. Detria slowed to inching along as she approached the strange sphere. She stuttered, still scared and unsteady. She asked, "W-what are you? What are you doing here?"

The orb's lens is hazed over by ash, it blinks and narrows its lens as she approaches. It listens to her question and ponders a reply. Then the lens shuts, and red text appears scrolling across the surface. "Greetings, I am an Epocheian scout. We came to investigate the occurrence here after we received a signal reading that an eruption took place." The text blinks off then reads, "Are you well? Are you in need of a medic?" The text is fogged over by soot, but it hoped she could read it.

"What... Strange text." Detria mumbled to herself. I had concluded my prayer, and was now standing beside her. I had read the text scrolling by. It looked like an alternation of a language that died out here, so I could partially understand what it had said. Something about the word "Medic" meant healing or medicine, and "Eruption" seemed as if it directly derived from Erupta, a word that meant explosion or scattering in the language I had studied so long ago. This strange little sphere was apparently sent here because of the explosion of Mt. Megathirio, and was possibly here to assist us. A little confused, I said to the orb, "Wait here." I dashed off. After a minute or so, I came back with two unconscious citizens over my shoulders. One was missing his leg, the other was bleeding severely from his ears, nose, and mouth. "I've found two injured people that need help."

The lens reappears and it looks down to the two injured. Its lens flashes, as it takes a picture. "Help will arrive shortly." appears the blinks off as a blue ring flashes around it, it quickly fades.
D-47 receives the visuals directly. The ships had caught a torrent and were nearly to shore. They were just starting to peep up into the shallows, using oars along the sidings as centipede legs. One of the ships crawls ashore, others remain in the shallows. It parks and a ramp falls off the siding, forming a ramp to exit the ship. D-47 is the first to exit. His appearance shows him to be a scientist, he wears a white lab coat and black underclothing, D-47 marked on the right sleeve of the coat. Though ash is staining the lab coat with black flecks as it fall like snow. He blankly looks to the group the orb hovers near. The orb turns its lens to him and makes a chirping sound, as if requesting him to hurry and help. D-47 watches for a moment more then walks over, nothing off to the side seems to distract him. Once next to the injured people he looks to the two standing, he doesn't once blink, even with soot and ash blowing around. He looks down to the injured people, then kneels between them. He turns to the one missing a leg, he hovers a hand just above the actual wound. Variously colored wires withdraw from his palm and begin numbing, cauterizing, stitching, and spraying a clear fluid that dries as a bandage. The procedure only takes about a minute and a half.
- info He wears glasses, is blond, has blue eyes, is normal build, never blinks, is an android but it's near imposable to tell-

Detria gasped in horror, and stumbled backward, saying, "What kind of abominable sorcery is this..." I hushed her with an upraised hand. Kneeling beside the citizen, I asked, "How are you doing that?" Detria's panic subsided, and she ran off to find more people in need.

D-47 is silent until he finds a suitable answer. "... It is what I was created to do." he says in a monotone voice. It was the least complex answer he could find. After finishing with this one, the wires retract, and he turns to work on the other. He places a hand on the abdomen of this one, and unseen to anyone watching, the wires work their way inside through a cut made by a sharp edged wire. They repair any internal damage within minutes. Once done he lifts his hand enough for the wires to stitch the cut closed. Then the wires retract back into his hand again.

My expression brightened, and I was astounded. I asked him, "You were made to heal? To undo harm on a human being? You must be an angel, sent by Xefos herself!" Detria returned, also holding a pair of men who were unconscious as well. One man had broken bones jutting from one arm and three missing digits on his left hand. The other had charred skin every which way, his lips cauterized shut.

"... If believing in such a way allows you to maintain a mental balance then by all means think that way." he says in the same tone as before, not even a hint of emotion present. He looked to the two new patients, then went to the one with burns first. "This one will be more difficult to treat." he kneels besides the burned one and administers a numbing agent. Then uses the sharp wire to separate the lips to allow easy breathing. He turns to the one with broken bones and administers a numbing agent. Several wires wrap around the exposed bones and work them back into place, a separate wire applies a glue like patch to hold the bones together then shines a violet light on it to harden the substance. After that the wires unwind and stitch up the wounds. Then the wires clean, cauterize, and stitch the wounds to the man's hand. He turns back to the burned one. The wires withdraw into his hand before they come back out to work. The wires work carefully to remove severely burned skin then spray a protective bandage over them. He also treats lesser burns with a similar spray. "You require help to locate the injured correct?" he asks after finishing up the last patch.
