Fallout 3 - Five Years Ago

[Sweetheart]

Five years ago..... Before The Lone Wander escaped the hell of Vault 101. Before the collapse of The Enclave. Before Project Purity. Before The Super Mutant Wars. It was diffrent.... Oh so diffrent.

Five years ago, 2272, the hot spot of open conflict was the Mohavie Wasteland. The Brotherhoo of Steel vied for control of a vital railway connection in Utah, if reconnected, you reconnect the nation. Opossing them is The Enclave, and The New California Republic. The Super Mutants of D.C. were diffrent back then, it wasn't genocide, it was cooperation. Before Project Purity turned to the Mutants hostile, they worked along side humans. The Ghouls, however, were very diffrent. Not unifyed like now, they has civil war and fueds with each other. The Pitt, known for it's brutal slavery, is just being colonised by Slavers from Paradice Falls. Though, it's not all quite in the Capital Wasteland. Chinese troops have the city occupied. The Brotherhood's influence in the area is limited, so Local Humans and Super Mutants have united into, The D.C. Defiance, or, Defiance.

So, now the question falls upon you. Who are you? A irratiaed Ghoul, surviving off damnation? A Super Mutant, A giant among humans? Or Humans, the last remnet of the world that was?

Almost as important to who you are, is where you are. Where were you born? In the irratiated Metros of underworld? The urban ruins of D.C.? Or the gray Vaults?

Last of all, what you wish to become in this world. Will you have a kind nature to such a degree that people see you as a Missiah? As back and Forth of a nature of a capitalist trader? Or the evil you unleash, Sourge of the Wastes?

Of all this, go find your place. *Raido dies*

(WARNING! The board is rated R, Sexual cunudums, Blood and Gore for the Devine, and Drugs..... Hellovalot of drugs are allowed, BUT! In moderation. I don't want everyone having sex, while eating human flesh, while shooting Jet every second.)

Sanders dropped his Magnum and sighed heavily. He never liked that gun, but it had saved his life many times. However, there was no quick repair to be made for a shattered barrel. He pulled out his M3, and blew the last target to smithereens. He loved his shotgun, but he didn't like to waste ammunition. It was far too rare. He strapped it to his back once more, and whistled for his dog, calling, "Bruce!" His Blood Hound rounded from behind the remains of a car. Sanders squatted and scratched Bruce behind the ears. He stood up, and said, "Alright. We need food. Let's go hunting." Sanders walked to the curb, hoping to find something.... He peaked around a large boulder of debris, and saw....

[Sweetheart]

Behind the large pile of rocks and debris, a large collection of metal plates and such jutted out from a place farther way from where Sander's was. Crows were flying over the top in a cirular fashion.

[Doom]

Sanders frowned, disappointed with such meager prey. Even so, he took aim, and fired three shots. He didn't want to waste ammo, so whatever he hit would be his meal.

[Sweetheart]

Two bullets went for a crow and downed it, the third hit the metal and pinged off. After a few seconds of silence, a voice was heard, though it was distant and hard to hear. "What in the hell do you think your doing?!" the male voice said.

[Doom]

Sanders looked over the area, not seeing the man who yelled at him. "I happen to be hunting for food. Who just spoke, anyway?" Bruce sniffed the air, and growled quietly at a mangled refrigerator about 45 paces away.

[Sweetheart]

Suddenly, between two rocks up ahead, a man in what looked like football gear was comming up to Sanders, with an Assult Rifle. "Why are you shooting up our setalment?!" he demaned.

[Doom]

Sanders backed away, and answered, "I didn't know anyone was here. I'm sorry if a stray shot hit anyone, but I just need food." Bruce toddled over to the crow corpse and snatched it up into his jaws. He growled at the armored man and slowly backed away, retreating behind Sanders.

[Sweetheart]

The man sighed, "Ok, sorry for the display of force. Raiders are hitting this area hard, sespecially around Megaton." The man holstered his Assult Rifle. "You said you were looking for food?" he asked.

[Doom]

Sanders caution quickly shifted into intrigue. "Why, yes, I am. I've been living off of crows, bugs, and some mutated scorpion things. Haven't had much of a meal in a while..... You say the Raiders are at it? Perhaps we can help each other?" Bruce was still tense, growling intently at the stranger. "Bruce, sit!" Sanders snapped at him. After a low whimper, he sat, and panted happily.

"Well well, if you planon takening down he raiders in the area, you should talk it over with Lucas Sims, he's the 'mayor' of Megaton." the man said, flipping his head toawrd the metal pile in the distance.

[Doom]

"Alrighty, then. I suppose I should have a word with him." Sanders began to casually stride to the metal heap and Bruce pattered alongside him. He hoisted his shotgun over his shoulder, and began to whistle.

When Sander arrived at The Megaton Gate, the size of the place was huge. A very large jet engine supputered up and the gate slowly rose. Ahead of him, a door stood, semi-openned.
