For everyone familiar with the Warcraft universe, you are limited to ONE character. Any (playable) race, with the classes matching the races. If you aren't sure about races, go here: us.battle.net/wow/en/game/race/For classes, go here: us.battle.net/wow/en/game/class/NO DEATH KNIGHTS! (Explained later) Now, onto the Plot! (I have a main character and an antagonist character. I am the only one who can break the ONE character rule, but I shall not abuse this. I only make more characters for the sake of storyline.) ~~~ Nareen sat on chair, content and relaxed. Enthralled by the outstanding literature, he sat at the edge of his seat, clenched with anticipation. It was a relatively peaceful day in Stormwind, and the cooling breeze coming from the canals felt wonderful. He read the last paragraph, and slammed the book closed. "What kind of idiotic, unreal ending was...." He sighed. "Humans know how to make asinine twists in a good story, that's for sure." He set his book down, and gazed at the sky. The weather was at the best it had ever been after the Cataclysm, and he wanted a simple day to relax. But he knew his relaxation couldn't last when he saw an Argent Crusade squire sprinting up the walkway. He stood up slowly, and mumbled, "First the molten dragon colossus, now another Lich conspiracy. I'm just not in the mood."

Ungathal stood in the Magic Quarter and looked at the fresh meat behind him. "Well, you think you want to become Warlocks?" he said, then scoffed. "You think in just a few minutes, you will be able to do this?" Behind Ungathal, a man-sized portal opened up and out walked a Voidwalker. "Why have I been called?" said the Voidwalker, it's demonic voice filling Undercity with a frighting air. "This is more of a hell then the one I come from." Ungathal turned back to the new Undead recurits. "Demonology is a touchy subject, not only does it cost parts of you." he said, "It costs your mind." After saying that, an Orc walked up to Ungathal. "Sir Ungathal, we may have a problem." said the Orc. Ungathal laughed, "There can be nothing, that I can't even solve." The Orc footman then handed Ungathal a small scroll. After reading it, the scroll instantly burned up in his hands in a purple fire. Ungathal's eyes light up into a black flame. "NO! NOT ANOTHER LICH! I LOST MY SANITY ONCE! NOT TO SOME MAN!" The Orc sumbled back in fear, "Sir, the Alliance is asking for help to deal with the threat." Ungathal turned again, to the Orc. "I will not help the Alliance scum." -"Well, it isn't the Alliance as a whole" -"THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT?!" -"I... um...." -"Nevermind, who is it?" -"His name is Nareen, he is a powerful mage." -"Well, he is a mana user, fine, I will help. Where does he wish to meet?" -"Well, the paper said it.... Hellfire Penisula." -"Fine, I shall read my things, get these 'students' another trainer." The Orc salutes Ungathal. "It shall be done." Ungathal summons his Wyvern and flies out through the trash tube.

Nareen stood among the piles of smoldering corpses, devastated at how long this threat had gone unnoticed. "Such a miserable and broken world.... Now it will never know peace." He looked into the eerie green skies, and looked forward to see an Orcish ghoul charging at him. With upraised hands, he summoned an illustrious dragon head that belched thick molten breath on the ghoul. Blinded and shaken, the zombie shambled around, unable to fight. With fists clenched, Nareen charged and hurled a mighty ball of flame at the befuddled ghoul, striking it down once more. Hands singed from excessive flame incantations, he sat, and scanned the Orcish corpses once more. "The Burning Legion may be rising again, but using the remnants of the Scourge is simply....." He shuttered. "I hope that warlock arrives soon. Just as much as I hope I won't regret sending for him...."

Ungathal come over the hill just in time to see Nareen burn up a Ghoul. "That must be the person, that Orc didn't tell me he was a gnome, it's not that I hate gnomes it's just I'd like to know who has requsested me." he said. Note to self, Damn Orc's soul to the Nether. he though, then giggled to himself. I can use his body for food for my Voidwalker. He flew in closer to the Gnome's area of death.

After a final swig of purified Draenic water, he stands once more. He still felt drained, for Draenic water barely restored his mana, as he had become too powerful for it in the wake of the Cataclysm. He could hear heavy wings in the distance, so he looked over his shoulder. "Well, hope he can be for the Horde and partners with me at the same time." He whispered as the great Demonologist landed in front of him.

Nareen was about to yelp at Ungthal's disfigured hand, but stifled it, and accepted Ungthal's handshake. "It's nice to meet you in person, Ungthal the Wrathful. Tell me, do you know why I've summoned you into Outland, the broken world?"

"To deal with the new Lich threat." Ungathal said, withdrawing his hand. "This is, in fact, the only reason I'm dealing with you. If it were anyother reason, I would destroy you and send your soul to the Twister Nether." he smilied, he rotten flesh of his mouth spliting away as the destroyed muscles tried to move.

Ever so slightly cringing, Nareen began, "Well, it's good to know I'm being tolerated." He cleared his throat, and began again, "As you can see, there are mounds upon mounds of Orcish corpses here. I slayed all of them, after powers of the Scourge slayed them once. However, there is something troubling about this, besides the new rising Lich. You see, many of these Orcs assaulted me with fel magic. That means they were being empowered through demonic sorcery. I would ask that you help me investigate Burning Legion activity here in Outland and help me solve why there are Scourge practices running rampant. I summoned you personally because of your knowledge of demons, and, not to be offensive, your current undeath. Are you willing to help me?"

Ungathal nodded, "No offence, I've embraced by being. It gives me a bond closer to my demons." Ungathal stated after observing the darkend flame od the Shadow Bolt. "As for your offer, I agree, on one condition." he said.

"What condition might that be?" He asked, a hint of doubt in his voice.

"I want full access into Stormwind's Wizard Tower." Ugathal replied swiftly, sensing the doubt. "A personal portal set up so as I may enter, and no hostilities when I arrive."

Nareen cleared his throat, and calmly said, "I would ask your reasons, but can only agree. Your condition, however, shall be met with mine. No attacks on the Alliance if I grant you access to the Mage Tower, agreed?"

Ungathal nodded. "I never had any intentions on attack the Alliance. The knowledge of the Horde is insufficient for what I wish to discover." he said, "I then, agree to your terms."

"Excellent! I will open a portal for you in the city of Shattrath right after you help me with what I require." He said. Nareen pulled out a map of what remained of Draenor, with two X's marking two locations. He pointed to the Netherstorm. "This area is filled with chaotic and uncontrollable arcane energies, and would be an excellent location for a powerful Lich to infuse himself with raw magic." He then pointed to the edge of Shadowmoon Valley. "Here is the Black Temple, Illidan Stormrage's once impenetrable fortress. Now, his councilmen, the corpses of hundreds of Draenei and demons alike, and Illidan's own lifeless body lay here. If a Lich were to amass an army in Outland, they would begin with the original home of the Death Knights." He slid the map closer to Ungthal. "Both these locations are likely for a Lich surmised by the Legion's power. I want to be sure that this new threat is not completely invincible yet. We will travel to Shadowmoon Valley first, and investigate demonic and undead activity there." He concluded as he folded up his map and placed it back in his bag.
