Railiff

[Sparrow]

The ship pull itself halfway out of the water and onto dry land. It sits there for about a minute as a screen slides out of its side, it passes a red light over the land, scanning for hostiles in each direction on one side. The screen slides back inside the passes to the other side and continues scanning.

[Jay]

Devon casually stood, not paying much attention. He awaited any contact before speaking himself, as this was a habit built over the years.

[Sparrow]

The scanner turns to him, and runs a light over him several times. A beep is heard and the screen retracts into the ship. Moments later a panel drops down, forming a ramp that leads into the ship.
Silence comes from the ship for about a minute. Suddenly a running sound inside is heard. Sparrow run jumps out of the ship and lands on the sand.
"Land!" she says desperately as she jumps out.
"I highly dislike that ship." she says with a nod, sitting cross legged on the beach.
"Indeed. We need to reconsider the design." Steve says calmly as he walks down the ramp, never once looking up from his writings.

[Jay]

Devon smirked. "Well, you may want to get it soon, if you plan on traveling around here in Railiff." he bowed to Sparrow, as he could well be considered a gentleman.

[Sparrow]

Sparrow leans her head back to see Devon instead of turning to him, as she had her back to him.
"Oh, hello." she says kindly.
She jumps up and turns to him in one movement.
"That is so true." she says in regard to the boat, then curtsies as a show of respectful greeting.
Steve steps off the ramp then bows slightly, even though he hadn't directly seen either of them greet in this way.

[Jay]

Devon smiled kindly, motioning inside. "You are welcome to come in." he said sowly.

[Sparrow]

"Thank you." Sparrow says kindly then follows the 'complex' directions.
Steve follows close behind.

[Jay]

He ushered them inside, where Angel was sitting, reading a book.

[Sparrow]

The orb quickly hovers over to Sparrow, who allows the orb to land in her cupped hands.
Steve takes a quick glance around then continues writing.
Sparrow looks to Angel,
"Whatcha readin?" she asks in a singsong tone.

[Jay]

"Oh." Angel closed the book and smiled. "Boring old poetry, I guess." she giggled. "Come, have a seat."

[Sparrow]

Sparrow nods,
"Thank you."
She walks over and sits in a spare seat, the orb remains on her lap.
Steve follows but stands behind Sparrow instead of sitting, continuing with his writing.

[Jay]

"So ," Angel furrowed her brow. "About this, um... alliance..." she started slowly.

[Sparrow]

"Yes, an alliance. Seeing as our lands are so close together an alliance would be beneficial." she says calmly.
The orb makes a soft clicking sound before its lens opens, it watches Angel.
Steve continues writing on a new page.

[Jay]

Angel nodded. "This is true." she cocked her head "What exactly are the um... details of this alliance? I know you'll be helping us, but what would you have in return?" she smirked.

[Sparrow]

Sparrow shrugs,
"I haven't really thought about it now that you mention it. I guess standard alliance stuff." she peers back to Steve.
Steve looks up from his writing,
"More then likely insurance if anything happened such as war that we'd be on the same side. Though war seems unlikely." he says calmly.
