The window leads to the great out doors.
The great out doors..... Three stories up....
Douglas jumps out the window, breaking it and lands on a hill side. He rolls down the hill and stops at the bottom.
"Owwwwwww." he mutters pained.
Jack immediately stops muttering the rhyme. He nods but doesn't look up.

As sorry as Kiana was for him, she didn't trust him. She smiled sadly. "You'd be the fourth." She looked down. "I'm just here to help, as I said. Just not in the way my fellow scientists think." she said to last part slowly, opening the door. She was ready for him to do anything, prepared after years of staying, just to help. project after project. "This is the least I can do." She looked away, a tear running down her cheek.

As soon as she looked away Jack quietly unfolds one of his spider legs and uses the clawed end of it to jam the door so it wont close. He looks up to her slowly, keeping deathly silent, and uses the other three legs to stand. The rest of him hangs loosely, like a ragdoll, from the spider legs. If she looked to him now she'd see his real appearance. Four black spider like eyes and a split lower jar with a row short fangs replacing teeth on both sides, a pair of longer fang are at the front. This had been why he hid his face, prey rarely got near enough to the when they saw what he looked like. This one However actually opened the door for him to leave, something he didn't expect in the least. For this reason, perhaps he'd allow this one to live.

Kiana looked at him, maybe a bit surprised, if nothing, by underwhelment. She was ready to use her powers. She sighed. "You should go." she glared. And please, don't think I can't defend myself."

Jack tilts his head before walking out of the cage. The spider legs cause him to stand about twelve feet tall. He lowers down to meet her eye level,
".....along came a spider.... that sat down beside her...." he says in a calm quiet tone.
".... To thank her before he made way..." after this twist on the rhyme he turns and starts to scale the wall, going to where he'd be difficult to spot.

Kiana turned her back on him. Probably just to see what he would do. She smirked, ready to do what she needed to, if she had to. Though, this Jack person seemed like he meant no harm to her. But she had been attacked by many gifteds in this job. He wouldn't be the first. But, as always, Kiana was confident.

Kiana sat down, typing and researching for yet another way to cover this one up. She sighed, this was her coward's life. Freeing gifteds. But, at least it was something to help her kind. She decided it best to ignore Jack for now, if he attacked her, she would defend herself, then help him out. It was always the same to her. Without glancing at him, she spoke. "So, I'm sorry you got into this, brought back to life." she shook her head. "The least I can do is free the poor patients of this program."

She smirked. "And, as I tell many gifteds before they leave, we're much alike. Or, at least in the gifted sense." she stood up, having found a new, creative excuse. Again, without looking behind, she switched into diamond form, her whole body turning into diamond. She sat back down, still glistening in the light.

Kiana rolled her eyes, still looking at the computer. She picked up a single chair, throwing it at the wall with one hand. It made a nicely sized hole.

He starts running into the forest,
"Yeah. Let's get out of -"
before he can finish he trips, good thing too since the next sound is a pistol being shot.
Sir took the shot from the broken window and only missed due to Douglas's trip.
Doglas gets up and gets away from firing range.
Jack looks to the hole for a long moment, he nods in thanks then slips out.
A scientist runs into the room soon after,
"What the heck was that?" he asks quickly looking to the hole.
