[Doom]

Steven, his heart changed, left Freddy's side the moment Drakaron took off and tackled him down. "Don't harm him. He just saved the boy from certain death!" He was holding tight to Drakaron, half consumed by the snow.

[Sparrow]

Jack is surprised by the sudden save. Not wanting it to go to waste he bolts in the opposite direction, back towards the forest, figuring being on the lake was a bad idea. He uses the lake to gain speed and distance then swerves into the forest. He gets a far distance in a short time, then hides in a crevice made by a fallen tree and snow. That was a close call... and the one he was after had saved his life. With this in mind he decides he has nothing against him now.

"DAMN IT HE GOT AWAY!.....oh well I guess....Now get off of me or I'll introduce you to the friend who bonded itself to me when I escaped the building."

[Dokeshi]

Ethan giggled," I was enjoying my nap, but I suppose my predicament is quite...interesting." Drakaron's shoulder twisted and contorted, Ethan's burnt face sprouted out, using his hosts' stretched flesh to make his image, his empty eye sockets stared directly at Steven as Ethan's tongue came from the bundle of flesh, licking his own lip, and then Steven's face. His tongue was ghostly, however, it left a trace just as easily as a living human one.

[Doom]

Jumping up, he backed away from Drakaron and Ethan. He was disturbed by Drakaron alone, but Ethan was something else. He didn't like ghosts. Not in the slightest. Attempting to ignore the ghostly lick, he ducked down to Freddy, still shivering profusely, and bundled him up as much as possible. He picked him up and hurried off the ice, making a wide berth around Drakaron. He hurried back to camp and set Freddy down near the fire, hoping that the hypothermia hadn't affected him badly enough to cause damage. Slowly, Freddy's shivering slowed to occasional jolts. He panted, then worked up a breath to say, "W-w-w....was it...J-J-Jack who saved me?" Steven nodded, and said, "He plucked you from the water when you fell in. I'm sorry I didn't act to try to save you."

Drakaron got back up, and began to laugh. "Ya know, that didn't even hurt. It was worth letting the spider get away just to see the look on his face. So, I know you attached to me when I was in shadow form to escape the window. But why did you do that? Also you wouldn't happen to have a name would you?"

[Sparrow]

Douglas strolls up to camp, looking annoyed.
"Thanks. I was lost out there for hours."
He notices Freddy and forgets what he was going to say next in his ramble.
"W-what happened to him?" he asks confused, seeing Freddy looked like he had gone swimming.

[Doom]

"Th-there was..." Freddy tried to say, but Steven interrupted him.
"The ice on the lake was too thin. He fell right through. Then....Jack saved him from death." He looked up at Douglas, and said, "He's still hypothermic. If you have any way to warm him or dry him off, you're welcome to help."

[Sparrow]

"Jack helped?" he starts to ask, but realizes the severity of the situation.
He removes things from his coat pockets and puts them in his pants pockets and shirt pocket. Then he takes off his lab coat and offers it.
"Here it may not be much but it may help."

[Doom]

Steven bundled him up, and Freddy began to cough weakly. Freddy whispered, "He...." He draws in a long breath, "Isn't evil. He has a heart. You just can't see it past the fangs and the legs." He wheezed, and slowly closed his eyes. Steven shook him, and he remained awake, but said nothing more.
Steven stood, and said, "We have to hold steady until morning. We can't afford another close call like that."

[fugama]

"I saw it alright....and I wanted to tear it out, and make a snack of it. But I guess we can't always get our way can we?" Drakaron was as little disappointed."Wait a minute, there's still that Boar! Douglas could have....."He remembered that Douglas was with them now,"I don't suppose you killed that boar before leaving to secure us some dinner?"

[Sparrow]

Douglas stares blankly at Drakaron,
"What? Boar, what are you?... I wasn't here, I was lost in the forest!" he snaps.
After sighing to calm himself he looks to the side,
"I saw something over there as I was walking back. Maybe that's what you're looking for. It was moving slow, I assume because of the snow." he points off to the right.
He nods in response to Steven.
"I'll try to find some more wood, and not get lost this time."

[fugama]

Well then I better go get that boar. Since I'm not having Spider organs, I'll have to settle for it. Drakaron began to set off in the direction pointed out to him. "I'll be back at the camp! If you're not back by the time I cut up the boar, I'm going to go looking for you. If I don't find you I'm assuming you dead, and slowly moving toward society."

[Jay]

Kiana came back into camp, holding something in her hand. She swallowed a pill and sat down next to Freddy on the other side. She looked at Steven. "We have to do more than bundle him up, get closer. We have to provide heat, also. And, did you take his wet clothes off?" she scolded, being the doctor here. Kiana sighed, leaning back and having heard Freddy's statement about Jack having a heart. She smiled. "And, I knew it all along." she said, not specifying what comment she was addressing, or who hers was directed to.

Steven looked dumbstruck. He had forgotten the most important procedures to save lives. Freddy bundled up in the dry-ish clothing he had been given and covered himself. He shook and rustled inside, and his drenched clothing was set next to the fire. He wrapped up more tightly, and Steven sat closer to him. Still shivering, but more hold of himself, Freddy said, "D-d-d-Drakaron....don't harm that poor thing. He doesn't deserve any torture you desire." Steven looked puzzled by Freddy's demand, but said nothing.
