Jack narrows his eyes, a strange thing to be achieved by something you wouldn't think to have eye lids. A low but nonaggressive hiss is clear to hear. A low clicking is also clear, caused by 'Fangs' fangs chattering together. It's unclear if it's caused by the cold or by annoyance. He watches Steve cautiously, thinking him to possibly be trigger happy. However, he stays relatively still, even though by this point he rather retreat and wait it out then return again.

Steven was ever so lightly pulling on the trigger, but Freddy ran up to him and pulled his arm down, just before the shot was fired. "Don't hurt him! He's still human, you maniac!" Steven tried to grab the gun away, but Freddy was too persistent. He screamed, "Maniac?! He was going to EAT us!"

The shot causes Jack to jump slightly in response. No pain followed, so he assumed it missed. The blond one had actually helped him. Though he probably could of dodged under normal conditions, he was slowed by the cold air and deep snow. Perhaps he'd leave that one alone. ...The trigger happy one however...
In the moment of not being aimed at, Jack takes advantage, and flees.
His speed it still spider like, but partly slowed due to the deep snow, he picks up speed once climbing up a tree. Then in a flash darts into the canopy and hides out.

"Just look! He got away!" Steven was fuming, but Freddy only scowled at him, and said, "Good. No one deserves death a second time." He walked back to Kiana, and asked, "How did you die? I have to know."

Kiana glared at Steven. "You know how hard it was to break him out?!" she yelled at him, turning to Freddy. "Poison, I believe so, why?"

"I was investigating your death. How did you escape the facility? How are you on the outside? And.... how.... how did you transform like that?" Freddy was astounded, but Steven was shaking with rage.

Kiana smirked. "I've been working as a doctor this whole time. And, nothing outer, just, my insides are all eaten away... And, that's my power." she shifted again, to explain.

Douglas trudges through the snow past Steve, bored with standing with silent shadow man.
He looks in the direction that Jack had fled in.
".... Jack? You let Jack out?" He puts his hands out to enunciate further.
"JACK. Really?"
He sighs and drops his arms,
"Oh well. At least he ran off..."
He looks up to the canopy.
"....I hope." he says in a smaller voice.

Freddy was amazed, and turned to Douglass, asking, "Are you undead as well?" Steven was trudging back to his fan, getting inside and slamming the door.

"Wha? No. Not at all. I'm a scientist. ...Well a living scientist. She's a scientist too, but yeah. ....To answer clearly, no I'm not undead." he explains.

"Interesting." Freddy turned back to Kiana, and said, "You died at age twenty eight. That would mean you've been here for eight years. How are you allowed to work as a scientist?" Freddy was undeterred by the blizzard, so much more curious than frightened.

Freddy was aghast. "Incredible. How far is this facility-" Freddy was cut off by Steven's yell from the amps.
"Stop fraternizing with them! She's dead and a scientist! She'll report your presence in a heartbeat!"
Freddy scowled at the van, but looked at Kiana with a questioning expression.

Freddy nodded and said, "I'll talk to you later. It's too cold for me to stand here for long." He trudged back to the van and climbed inside, then began to yell at Steven, saying, "Seriously! Why would you do that?"
Steve sneered and said, "You're gonna get yourself killed making stupid moves like that."
Freddy scowled again, then fell against the door, tired and angered.
