[Rachel]

Velvet narrowed her eyes slightly. 'She came to the same conclusion as me?' She waited a moment before answering. "That makes a lot of sense. I didn't see it on the way outside, so I guess it did. God, there can't be another Kira..." she said softly, rubbing her face. Silk was still frowning.
"Wait... what apple core?"

"There had better not be. I know a person with phsychological scars from the first one, and she wasn't even alive when it happened," she said. "But I can't seem to come to any other conclusion..."

[Rachel]

"Maybe someone just dropped it as they walked by," Velvet said, twirling into a state of panic. "If there is a new Kira, we'll catch him, just like Near caught the first one... We will."
Silk sighed and walked on in silence.

"No Velvet, I'm sure it wasn't there when I came out. If we were normal kids then maybe it could be possible we didn't notice it but come on, we've been trained to notice little things like this. It wasn't there," she sighed. "yes, we'll probably catch them, but it'll take awhile. You know how long it took Near to catch him and that was after al the progress L made,"
Butn this was the sort of case she liked. Random and complicated.

[Rachel]

"It's possible that the new owner of the notebook could be scared to use it, after what happened the first time," Velvet said, considering the possibilities. "They could want to follow in the first Kira's footsteps. They might not. They might want revenge over something, killing innocents in the process. We could be completely wrong. But, why is the apple core here, at Wammy's?"
"Are you implying that there's another Kira?" Silk asked, being slow.

"well my theory-I know this sounds impossible, but really, what ISN'T impossible in the Kira case? It's a notebook that kills people!- is that a Shinigami was flying over Whammys house on the way to meet the new Kira and dropped the core of the apple he was eating. And I guess it just happened to land here," Teale replied

[Rachel]

Velvet nodded. "Possibly..." she said. "It's not impossible at all. Probable. We're going to have to keep an eye on people that are dying. But, what if this Kira is smarter than the old. He could have learnt from his mistakes. Damn." She shut her eyes, ignoring the other 'What if-s'. "We'll just have to wait and see, I guess."

"If this Kira learns from the previous ones mistakes, that will help us," Teale announced, roud she could do what she did best: create plans for bait and trap. "Because only a tiny amount of information was released to the general public, along with alot of speculation which half of it isn't true and would only confuse Kira more. However, alot of information was given to us Whammy kids in that moronic history class. So if they know to much that significantly decreases the number of suspects,"
Right as she was saying this they were passing her own room ((here I'm assuming they started walking awhile ago.)) and the door was propped open. "Brilliant and correct as usual Blue," came sevens voice from inside.
"Sevben! Dammit were you eavesdropping?" She snapped at him.
"Just a little," he rolled his chair away from the computer, stood up and opened the door fully for the three of them. "I'm Blues older brother Seven," he said kindly.

[Rachel]

Velvet smiled at Seven's appearance. "Hi there!" she greeted him. Silk was silent, confused. "I'm Velvet." She glanced at Silk and decided to introduce her as well. "This is Silk. It's nice to meet you, Seven." Velvet pursed her lips, thinking. "It's a good point, Blue," she said slowly. "There's always the possibility to play dumb. Who knows-" Suddenly, she stopped and frowned. Wait, why was she sharing her thoughts with Blue again?

"Because two head work better than one at solving these oddly complicated riddles," Seven turned away as he awnsered Velvets unspoken question.
"Seven!" blue snapped. "Why do you insist on scaring people when you meet them?"
"Well I can't help awnsering their questions and it's so obvious,"
"Only to you genious," Blue sighed. "My brother has an uncanny ability to read people. How they think and work. Sometimes it's like he can read minds. Sorry if he freaks you out,"

Seven wandered back to his computer and sat down, looking at the screen again. "And you may want to explain yourselves to Silk, you don't need my skills to tell she's extremley confused," he added.

[Rachel]

"It's... interesting, I suppose," Velvet said softly.
"Please?" Silk added with a smile, silently thanking Seven. Velvet glanced at Silk, laughing.
"I'm sorry!" she said, still grinning. "There was an apple core. Out near the old sign. It came out of no where..." Silk cut her off.
"It's not funny, Velvet."

Seven couldn't stop himself from grinning. "Your welcome Silk,"

"We're not kidding. Me and Velvet both went outside earlier, and tthere was just suddenly an apple core next to the Whammy house sign. It wasn't there when we went outside," Teale explained.

[Rachel]

"And now you think that there's a Kira, right?" Silk asked, raising her eyebrows. She didn't believe them. "Well, I think you're jumping to conclusions." She paused in thought. "It's a big accusation, you know..." Velvet sighed.

[Raven]

"Yeah, and we're going to need proof to back it up, but it can't hurt to get a head start," Kat said, from her doorway. She stepped out and closed the door behind her. "Last time L died before Kira was caught, so a head start and the information from the last case will only help. And if we're completely wrong and there isn't another Kira, then we definitely won't catch Kira. How can it hurt?"

Teale jumped. "Cat!" she said, suprised. Quickly calming herself she said "Exactly. And it may be farfetched but as I said before, really, the Kira case is so impossible that our wild theory isn't really so wild. It's a much higher probability than it sounds,"
