[Gifted]

Teale heard them walking to the door and straightened up just a little. when the door opened, she was leaning down again to pick up her hairband. She picked it, straightned up, and pretended to just notice Velvet.
"Oh, Velvet! Hey!" she said in an extremly convincing impression of a surprised tone. "Is this your room?" she asked as she put her hairband in.
There, seemed casual enough.

"Oh, sorry about running off like that earlier. I needed to check something out of the library," she added.

[Rachel]

"Hi, Blue," Velvet said genuinely surprised. "Yeah, this is my room." She nodded. It wasn't like Blue was going to go and stab her in her sleep. "It's okay. Would you like to come for a walk with us?" Hoping she would say yes, she stuck her hands in her pockets and smiled. She wanted to ask her what she went to check out. It didn't matter if Silk was there. She trusted Silk.

"Sure," Teale said, pleased that Velvet bought her story. Of course most of the Whammys usually did, but it always put her on edge. "Who's your roommate?" she asked, indicating silk

[Rachel]

"This is Silk," Velvet told Teale with a smile. They had known each other since Velvet first came to Wammy's and they had helped each other pick out their names. "Silk, this is Blue. I'm not very good at introducing people to each other, so that's about it." Silk extended her hand.
"It's nice to meet you, Blue."

Teale couldn't help cracking a smile at thenames. "You guys related?" she asked, grinning. It was her expirience that brothers and sisters anames usually related to each other. The Seven Blue Circles had been a rare exception.
"It's nice to meet you too,"

[Rachel]

"Sadly, no," Velvet replied, grinning. She started to walk down the hall, Silk at her side. "Silk was the first person I met here, though. She's as good as a sister..." Velvet shut her eyes for a moment, a brief wave of anger rushing through her. Talking about family had always been hard, but she did it anyway.
"Do you have any family here?" she asked, smiling again and glancing at Blue.

"A brother," She said. "Used to have a sister too, but she.." she couldn't finish. Circles. Truth was, Circles had felt oppressed by the students because of her real name. she'd felt so bad she'd run away from Whammys house, and never come back, not even for her older siblings.
((I think I'm going to write a little history thing on the Charater page to expand on the Seven Blue Circles))

[Rachel]

Velvet grimaced sympathetically. "I'm sorry," she whispered, now looking at the floor. Not entirely jumping to conclusions, but guessing anyway. Silk attempted to direct the pair away from thoughts of their families. She herself was an only child.
"How long have you been here?" she asked Blue. It was a weak attempt, but she hoped that it would work, all the same.

"Five years, since I was 9," she said, unsmiling. "Circles was four and Seven was 11," She sighed, now thinking about her parents, who were truly the source of Circles's name problems. If her damned father hadn't been so..
Well it did no good to think about the past.
"How about you?"

[Rachel]

"I've been here since I was 11. That's 6 years," Silk answered thoughtfully.
"I came a year after, I do believe. Well, I was 11, as well, I'm sure. 5 years for me," Velvet added. "So we came here around the same time? Well, the same year, anyway." She shrugged. She had an idea. "I wanted to ask you, what do you think of Kat?"
Silk frowned. "Who?"

Teales eyebrows raised at the question. "I don't know her too well," she said hesitantly. "The only time I've seen her, besides outside of course, was while I was in the washroom between classes," she said honestly.

[Rachel]

"Oh?" Velvet said, ignoring Silk. "It seemed that you knew each other or something." She carefully laced her words with surprise, but really, she was only looking for an opening to ask her about the library. "I thought at first that you maybe were avoiding her when you ran off." She laughed and shook her head slightly.

"huh, I should tell my brother his brilliant deduction wasn't so brilliant," she smirked. "He said Cat might think that, but it must be pretty obvious if it occured to both of you," She sighed and elaborated. "My brothers got a knack for getting into other peoples heads, I go to him when I have questions about other people. Actually it wasn't that sort of question, he just ended up awnsering like it was.But suppose he can't help that," she shrugged. "No, I wasn't avoiding her. I just had to look something up in the library,"

[Rachel]

Velvet cocked her head. "He would be interesting to meet," she said with a smile. "I was just guessing, anyway. I'm not very god at the kind of thing, I suppose... What was it that you had to look up? It must have been important, seeing as you just kind of... ran off."

Teale bit her lip. "well... now don't laugh but... I was pretty sure there was a connection etween the apple core and the Kira case, and had to double check. The apple core just kinda came outta nowhere so..." she trailed off, not wanting to look like a fool
