Kat's eyes burned furiously. "Yeah. Just me. The nobody who can't hide what she's feeling or tell what other people are thinking. She doesn't have anything special, like a normal Wammy. Of course not, and no one would care if she did! Because my messed up mind doesn't like to give me anything!" She balled her hands into fists.

He couldn't take it any more. He lashed out, his arm whipping her in the stomach and pushing her back. "Believe it or not, some of us have our own problems too!" he shouted at her, before stalking out into the rain

[Raven]

Kat's hand wrapped around her middle as she fell back onto the floor. She frowned, but that was the only emotion that showed on her face. She hadn't been really mad to begin with, but emotions built up and she had just exploded. What was up with him? Whatever it was, she was sure she wanted to help.

[Rachel]

Velvet gaped slightly, watching him leave before turning to Kat. She kneeled down, pursing her lips. "Are you alright, Kat?" she asked, absently chewing on her lip. She shook her head. "What happened to him?" she mumbled, now talking to herself.

[Raven]

"I'm fine..." Kat took a deep breath, then stood up and followed him into the storm. "Seven! I didn't mean that! I was trying to help, then you... Oh forget it!"

[Rachel]

"Is that very wise, Kat?" Velvet asked her, standing and following her a few steps. She didn't particularly want to follow them. "He must be pretty angry, I mean. He just hit you, and wandered off out there. I think it's pretty out of character for Seven."

[Gifted]

He'd gone and sat down at the foot of Teales tree, The heavy rain soaking im to the skin and stil pouring on him, when he heard Kat. He carefully avoided her eyes, his hand running up and down his soaked pant leg.

[Raven]

Kat stood, getting drenched. "I'm not mad, you know," she called over the thundering of the rain. She payed no attention to the fact that she was dripping.

[Gifted]

Seven glanced up his eyes obviously potraying the two things he didn't need to speak. He was curious, but whatever she had to tell him, didn't really matter.

[Raven]

She stepped forward. "What's wrong? What happened?" Kat asked.

[Gifted]

He sighed, looking away again. "It's not something you would understand,"

[Raven]

"I can still try," Kat insisted. She sat next to him. "I'm pretty good at putting myself in other people's shoes."

[Sar]

Yami let out a breath and walked through the hall. It took her forever to find her way around but she finally came to the door. Roger was outside and he said "Go in," She walked through the door to face a lap top. "Welcome," and electronic voice said allowed to Yami. The door closed and the meeting started.

Teale saw the coast was clear. Walking back over to the book, she picked it up and attempted to open it. It was locked. She gritted her teeth. If only she had the talents Circles did! She'd be able to make a lockpick out of a bit of wire and metal. or wood. or... well just about anything
She wondered if she'd find the Series of Unfortunate Events in the library. Book two taught you how to make a lockpick, she remembered. But didn't Klaus end up breaking the lock?
She put the book carefully back on the table and left for the library.

Stephen sighed. He could tell she really thought she could understand. But they could never understand. Not unless he said the whole story and broke the unspokenly number 1 rule at Whammy house: Don't tell anybody your or anyone elses name. "We've got a new roommate," he said anyways.

Kat narrowed her eyes, thinking. "You used to have someone else living there. You hope they'll come back, but by putting a newbie there, Rodger pretty much said she or he wasn't." It wasn't a question.
