Hikari stared down at the note book and it fell to note a blank piece of paper but rules. She looked back up and said "Have you read these yet?"

Hikari read through the rules "There are so many rules," she said aloud, flipping through the rules. Then she saw the word God of Death "Shinigami," she said aloud, wondering about the word. "This seems real to me, or someone has a large imagination and time on there hands. But I don't see what a person would get out of this by making ti up. It's illogical,"

Sai rifled through the pages of the book and came across one page with just a single name on it "Light Yagami" He looked at Hikari and said,"I think this is the real one.." He spoke again after a minute," maybe we should try it tonight where am I sleeping?"

She continued to read 'The human who writes in this note book will not go to heaven or hell," that rule was what seemed the phase her the most. She was religious, though not attending church or other organized versions of the sort but she still considered herself a practicing Catholic, though some of her friends mocked her for her 'Blind faith,'. In her pocket was her rosary, her grandmother, the first converted catholic in their highly Japanese family, convincing her as a child that if she put in around her neck she would go straight to hell. She put her hand on her pocket and then looked back up at Sai. "You can use the spare bed if you want, it should still be made up, just roll it out from under my bed." She looked back down at the death note at said Are you sure you want to write in it Sai? There is a lot of chance with this,"

Sai nodded to her and walked over to her bed before retrieving the spare from underneath. He carefulyl dragged the bed to a location where he wouldn't be an obstacle for anyone walking in, or out of the room. He laid down on it and decided carefully on how he should use the book if he eve ntruely decided to use it. His thoughts could be seen on his face as his thoughts raced throughout his mind.

Hikari slid her glasses up her nose and then spun her chair to face her lap top. She opened up the internet and quickly started searching for facts about Kira. Much had been covered up after the sudden stop of killings and the public wasn't given to much information outside of few facts for people to chew on and the lies that Sakura TV still continued to spill over there monthly broadcast of the resurrected Kira's kingdom. She turned to Sai and said "We are both top students," she took off her glasses and slid her chair over to her bed as she got up and laid down, her facing towards Sai, "I think we are intelligent enough to come up with some sort of plan. That is," she paused, looking down at her pocket then back up at him "Are we you going to?"

Sa isat up and then looked at Hikari a minute before replying," I think that this is wha tthe world really needs, that is someone to actually do something. Unlike those politicians who just sit on their butts all day long avoiding the real problems." He spoke agai nafter a minute," I say we should test it out...I'll write in it, No need for anyone else to experience the negative effects of it." He paused and thought for a few seconds and began again," I think ishould test it out on a criminal... like the first Kira did."

Hikari gave him one last look and then handed him the death note. She then got out of be and walked back to the computer without the chair. She bent over and her fingers started to glide over the keys of the computer, after a moment she then started searching and said "Here is a list that has been continuously posted sense the rise of Kira, the ones voted for judgment on Kira the most are closest to the top and the pettier crimes and annoyances near the bottom. It was a url given to me for my death penalty essay though the IP addresses is being scrambled so nothing can really trace us back to this unless they are willing to spend few hours working on it." Hikari was rather proud with her talents for computers though she didn't show her regular attitude for there were other things on her mind. She picked up and handed the lap top to Sai. "Take a look,"

Sai scanned the list and chose a name that was fairly close to the top. He chose him because his name had a picture, he wrote the man's name and to truly test the boo khe wrote that the man would publicly hang himself in five minutes. He looked at the time on the laptop and passed it back to her. He spoke to her as he handed it back," That man will will die in 5 miutes according to the book we should see if we can find some information about wheter or not he died in the morning."

"Yeah," Hikari said, putting the laptop back on the desk "Tomorrow," she then walked back to bed and flipped off thw switch. "Tomorrow,: she repeated to herself as she closed her eyes and said "I guess we will have to wait til then."

Sai nodded and yawned, he murmerd "good night" as he rested his head on the pillow. He awoke around nine o'clock streteched and looked around the room. He barely remembered the night before, His eyes suddenly widened and he walked over to Hikari's laptop and bega nsearching the criminal whose name he had written. His eyes widened as he stared at a corpse hanging from a fairly thick rope in the middle of a town. He stared at the screen trying to fathom what he had found.

Hikari woke up slowly and started to stretch her limbs as she rose from her bed. She sighed and then turned to face her computer, where sai was, just staring. "Sai?" she asked "What is it?" Then the events of the night before started to flood into her mind and she then changed the question "What happened?"

'He is dead,' She thought as she read over the page. Sai killed him, what was this world coming to? She then thought to herself another though and reached into her pocket, pulling out a rosary. She unwrapped it and slipped it over his head and let it rest around his neck. It what and old one, red and silver with the rosary bead pattern around it. "Here," she said and then turned towards the note book. "What are we going to do?"
