Ethan sat in the middle of the room, paying no mind to anything really around him, Spook of course the the time to lean on Buoy and occasionally menacingly look at Miracle.

Miracle inched toward the bunk, and ducked under it, staring back at Spook with fear in his eyes. Buoy, recognizing Spook's curious fascination with her and hatred of Miracle, and shouted angrily at Spook, "Chou! Chin-chou-chou!" While Chomps sat near Hemlock and asked, "Gulp? Gulp-gulp?"

Spook pouted, leaving Miracle alone but trying to float closer to Buoy. Hemlock croaked back at Chomps after a few seconds.

Buoy hopped over to the cowering Riolu and wrapped her antenna around him, trying to tug him forward, but Miracle was to scared to face Spook. With more fury, Buoy gave a final tug and threw Miracle forward, landing squarely in front of Spook. He looked up, and quivered slightly. On the other side of the room, Chomps replied, "Gulpin! Gulp-gulp!"

Spook looked at Buoy, then grumbled, offering a friendly handshake to Miracle. Hemlock seemed to laugh as he croaked more in response.

"Well, that would work, if his pokemon weren't as powerful as they were! My pokemon wouldn't stand a chance!" Miles yelled into his phone.

Miracle was still whimpering, but he slowly stood and accepted the friendly handshake, while Buoy nodded with approval at the sight. Meanwhile, Chomps was laughing alongside Hemlock with his throaty chortle.

Spook smiled, then ignored miracle, trying to cling to buoy, Hemlock stopped laughing when Belladona walked over, smacking him in the head.

Joseph held the phone away from his ear to avoid losing his hearing from Miles' yelling. "Run away and hide? I guess?" he suggested.

Miracle, now becoming a little less jumpy around the ominous assortment of pokemon, walked over to Poultergeist and waved with as much confidence as he could muster. Meanwhile, Chomps's laughter halted as Hemlock's did, and he meandered away, overcome with boredom.
