Jamie frowned, standing again and leaning against the van. She turned her head from Miles, not wanting to start up any form of conversation.

"Anyway..." Miles rasped, still short of breath, "The Pokemon Center is right over there." He pointed, and hobbled toward it. He stopped short, and turned around, "On second thought, you go ahead. Catch up with your brother." He went back over to the van, and weakly greeted Jamie. "Sorry if I scared you." He glanced at her Rattata, then smiled, saying, "That's an adorable little Rattata you have there." He jutted out his hand, saying, "My name is Miles, by the way."

Jamie shrieked at the talking, having hoped not to get a word. Her face went bright red. Now she'd have to say something. Why did all these morons have to talk to her? Jamie glared at him, but then realized he complimented Rattata, who now rushed over and sat on his lap. She tried softening her expression. "H-hello. I'm uh... Jamie. Thanks." she turned away again. "And, I'm fine." she said without turning.

Miles frowned, his hand unshaken. He lowered his arm and sighed, saying, "I can tell you're shy. Sorry to bother you." He turns around and continues walking back to the Pokemon Center, scolding himself silently for his rashness.

Jamie followed him, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry for my behavior..." she frowned, holding her hand out reluctantly. "And, I noticed your Lucario a minute ago. That's very astounding. You're also a great fighter." she nodded.

"Jamie." she cocked her head, getting mildly used to talking to this person. She decided to perhaps keep a conversation. "So, what brings you to Sunnyshore?" she tried a smile, which turned into a sheepish grin. But, hey, it worked, at least.

"Well...." Miles ceased shaking her hand and scratched his head. "I..had a reason for coming here. I don't quite.....Remember. I don't know why I'm here." Miles was rubbing his forehead. "I remember taking a boat here, but I don't quite remember exiting it. That may because I was carried here by a water pokemon the rest of the way." He rubbed profusely at his temples, thinking hard. "I honestly don't know why I came here. I just....Decided to." He sighed, then said, "That was probably the dumbest answer you've ever heard. What brings you here?"

Jamie cocked her head. That wasn't dumb, it was just eerilly mysterious. And suspicious. The gears in her head were turning viciously. "Oh, I'm with that other guy." she motioned to Hale. "He sort of... crashed his bicicle in front of me, then asked me to come with him." she laughed. "That's probably the dumbest answer YOU'VE ever heard." she said, giggling.

"Really? You're a co-host to Pokemon Now? That's amazing! It must be fun, reporting all over the nation!" Miles exclaimed. "I have to say, a job like that has got to be exciting! Is it?" He looked at her expectantly, eyes big.

Jamie shrugged. "I didn't get out from Jubilife city much. It's more scary. But, Hale's a nice guy." she shrugged. "Pokemon now? Hm? I must have been born under a rock." she smiled "I never knew it was popular." she shrugged.

Jamie looked at Nate, her eyes widening. How come her past just wouldn't leave her alone? She eyed him with pure terror. "No!" she said, a bit louder than she meant to.

Aren had finally gotten down to sunnyshore city. Finally. He was tired, and slightly sick from travel. But, a shock came to him when his eyes strayed to a van. He ran over. It was the same van. There, he saw the guy who grabbed his shirt, and a little boy, by the lookks of it. A disturbing one. Maybe this was meant to be! A second chance at this mysterious and beautiful girl? No way he'd pass it up!

Nate decided that she probably wanted her life to stay under wraps so, he was going into head into the Pokemon center to give Hale his Persian when he saw Aren walking into town. He decided to have fun with this stranger. He went around the west side until he was right behind Aren. He then apporched him from behind, putting his head by his sholders. "Why Helloooooo. How are you" Nate said, trying is best to sound creepy and like he's hitting on him at the same time.
