"You frowned..how about this we'll walk side by side like a couple so that neither of us is leading?" He stuck his tonuge out at her and then continued," Besides we should make sure it isn't in here first this is where it would be most dangerous."

" I'll be sure to, my little firestarter," He smirked as he said this and they proceded down the hall a light scrape could be heard from behind them.

Raven froze, but didn't dare turn around. "Did you hear that?" she whispered to Crow. She was 100% on edge, alert and tense.

He stopped and turned around still holding onto Raven there was a deep cut along the floor and another noise was heard from the left. A minute later the noise was repeatd from the opposite direction.

Raven closed her eyes. "Crow? What's the nightmare-doll you made doing?" she asked quietly, her voice shaking.

Frantically looking around he decided that perhaps another drawing could help, he pulled out his sketch bok and began drawing furiously. The lines and smears began to form together and the result were twin dogs made of skeletal remains. The dogs howled and lept from the pages and ran off in both directions by order of their master, hunting the feral doll.

Raven peaked long enough to position herself with her back to a wall so nothing could sneak up behind her. She curled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. "This is like something I would dream of. I know it's not a dream, though, because the doll would have already caught us and I wouldn't be thinking it might be a dream."

He walked over to her and placed his hand on her shoulder, he knew this wasn't the time to mess around. Scraping could be head from the left followed by yelps and a howl. A few minutes passe but it felt like forever before one of the skeletal hound limped back to the two and laid a shredded doll on the ground it was holding a fairly large metal blade and Jonathan sighed glad that this was over for the moment.

Raven glanced up, her teeth clenched so she didn't shout. The doll caught fire, burning faster than was natural. "I just hope the flames actually kill it, if not, I'm screwed. Seriously, if this doesn't kill it, it will only make it mad at me. And probably mad at you, too, because of your hounds from hell." She glanced up at the dog. "I think it's hurt... The dog, I mean. Do they have names? If not, we should name them."

The doll screamed as the flames consumed it and Jonathan looked down at it, muttering under his breath,"good riddance." He then turned to the dog and called the other one back as he examined its wounds, which were slowly healing themselves on their own. He patted it on its head and looked back at Raven as the other quickly approached and spoke to her," If you want you can name them it doesn't bother me any." He walked over to her and hugged her gently, all this trouble was caused by him and he felt horrible but being around Raven was making him feel much better.

She squeezed him softly, then crouched next to him. She whistled to the dogs, holding her hand out. "Come 'ere," she called. "Any ideas for names, Crow? And do we know their gender? I don't know how to tell from a skeleton, and it's easier to decide on a name if you know that..."

He smiled and then replied to her," I'm pretty sure one of them is a boy and one is a girl, but harder to tell with skeletons." He scratched them both on the head and turned to Raven and continued," Maybe Jigoku and Ryoken? "
