Millford's Assylum for Troubled Youths

Lulu pressed her ear and Mr. Snuffles' ear to the door. She gasped excitedly, and looked down at her plush pal.

"It sounds like somebody's saving us," she whispered, "Do you think we'll be able to find Mom and Dad?"

"We'll be able to find them, and once we do, we can show them how much you didn't like it here." Only Lulu could hear Mr. Snuffles' warm, gentle voice, and only she could see his button eyes twinkling in excitement. The eight year old nodded, and pounded on her door with her small fists. "Help!" she cried, "We want to get out, too! Please!"


Meanwhile, Kendal was watching the scene through a small, glass window in his door. He picked habitually at his skin, and waited for someone to look his way.

Lilly turned her head at the noise, but chose to open Kendal's door before figuring out where it was coming from. She finally located Lulu's door and unlocked it, setting the little girl and the elephant free, then turned back to Kendal. "Hold still, I'm going to get this mask off the fast way," she instructed him. She quickly and carefully burned through the straps.

Laura had no idea she was being rescued, but was coming back to herself, and rather ticked, I might add. She was focusing as hard as shee could, trying to set her bed on fire, but the flames just wern't burning. There wasn't even smoke. "Stupid shots," she said to herself. "How long do I have to wait THIS time?"

Mary whispered to Hilary and Judith to shut up, because she was doing something dangerous and they were too weak to do anything anyway, and to her surprise, they struggled less. She almost smiled, but instead approached Kenny's door and braced herself for whatever she found inside as she unlocked the door and eased it open. "Hey, kid,"

Kenny sat cross-legged on the bed. As Mary entered, he looked curiously up at the strange girl, tilting his head slightly to try to imply he was asking a question.

Kartala stopping carving the walls and walked over and examined all of the people that were being released =very closely, an inch from their face closely.

Kendal crept carefully out, observing his surroundings. No nurses, doctors, or professionals in sight. He smiled slightly. Now he was free to do whatever he wanted... He just had to get the muzzle off. The vampire reached at the back of his head, and fumbled under his hair for the straps. Once his rescuer spoke, he nodded, and let his hands drop to his sides. The muzzle clattered to the ground, sizzling.

"Thank you," he managed in a hoarse voice. Kendal pricked his thumb with one of his canines, and savored the taste. "Very much."

Lulu burst out of her room, dragging Mr. Snuffles by the trunk behind her. She was quickly met by Kartala's examination. The eight year old pulled her stuffed elephant protectively into her arms; she didn't want Kartala to rip his soft plush exterior.

"I don't like him." Lulu nodded in agreement.

"COme on," Mary said, bekoning with her hand. "We're getting everyone out."

[Raven]

Kenny's only sign he had heard was to stand up. He headed in the direction of the door, slowly placing one foot directly in front of the other, like a feline stalking his prey. He was watching Mary carefully, as if gauging her reaction.

Lilly nodded at Kartala. "Sure thing," she told him, then turned to get at Laura's door.

Mary gave him a bit of a scornful look, but said nothing. She went to get to Max's door.,

Laura heard a key being inserted in the lock, and leapt to her feet. She took on a defensive postition, hoping the nurse coming would not know her power had recently been suppressed. "Don't make me set you on fire!" she called.

Kartala walked over to Kendal and examined him before speaking," Does that taste good?" He reached his tongue out to him.

[Raven]

"Wouldn't do you any good, and even if that worked on me, it would hurt you more than help you," Lilly replied, stepping into the room. "I'm here to get you out."

Kenny started walking a bit quicker and reached the door, stepping quickly out. He needed to get the god damn jacket off, then he would be truly free.

Mary was prepared to help Kenny with that problem. Angry at the nurses for refusing to allow her acces to knives (her MUCH preffered weapon of choice, guns were boring and bare hands took to long)
she'd filled each of her nails to a sharp and deadly point. They definatley werent sharp enough, but they could shred a nurses skin when Mary clawed and would do quick work of the straitjacket straps in a couple minutes. She began sawing at it with her fingernail.


"Wait, really?" Laura gasped, running towards the door as it opened. She looked out into the hall where the other people were. upon seeing several people who didn't look like nurses and doctors, amnd one who looked downright creepy, she steped out to join them in the escape, standing next to the least creepy looking kid. (Kenny... XD)

Lilly walked over to get Kenny out of the jacket, burning through the straps. Kenny quickly pulled it off and unfastened his muzzle. As the mask clattered to the floor, he ran a hand through his messy black hair. "Glad to finally be out of there," he said, smiling with mostly closed eyelids. He actually looked quite nice. In a slightly sadistic way. The way he licked the corner of his mouth heightened that effect.

Max glanced up. "Hello. What do you want?" she asked Mary.

MKary went back to the door when she saw max. "Oh hey, look, its the kid judith was conforting. Go figure," she said, before turning to speak directly to max. "We're getting our asses out of here and figured you wanna come," she said. "Hey flamethrower, did we miss any doors do you think?"

"Yeah, there are three or four down that way," Lilly said, pointing.

Max nodded, stepping into the hallway. There she froze, staring at Kenny.
