Staring at the fire Kartala's pupils shrunk and he started smiling ear to ear, mroe blood dripped from his stitches.

One of the nurses started talking to the patients, "Just come with us so she doesn't hurt you. We can't stop her now."
"Oh, I'm sure they can handle getting burnt alive," the woman said.
"Lilly!"
"Yes?"
"Stop it!"
"Why should I?" Lilly snarled.

Mary glared at him. "Focus kid!" she snapped, annoyed at his distraction. "That's dangerous!"
Not that she cared about him being hurt, but she did NOT want to go up against a flame weilding chick by herself.

Lilly smiled. "Oh, very. If it's touching you, or near you, it's hot. If not, the smoke can kill you. Very dangerous indeed. Of course, that is supposing the one controlling it is against you..."

"Don't tell me what to do," Mary snapped back, watching the fire-weilding-not-nurse out of the corner of her eye and pushing the blade away by tthe flat edge. "If you aren't 100% alert you're going to hurt yourself,"
Heck, this ametuer would probably hurt himself anyways.

Lilly snorted, the flame dying out. "I have to put up an act just as much as you do to keep from being restrained myself. Most of the time I am. I'm not like them, Mary. I'm like you, and I want to escape." She sent a ball of flame at the window in the door. It wasn't enough to break the glass, only scare the nurses. Lilly laughed. "Fools." She turned back to the patients. "I want your help and in return, I'll help you. Until we get out, that is."
