Joan raised her eyebrows at Tabitha and cracked a half smile. "Used to be. Quit about eight months ago. Broke a whole mess of gifteds out, too. It was a bit of a scandal. Names Joan. Joan Wenkeling,"
Xander bit his lip and looked down. Unfortunatley, yeah,
"I just got into city limits now, I may have missed it. And if you aren't going to tell me you at least know where we're supposed to be. I can't know unless I follow you,"

He nodded at Wesly and followed him to town center
It was about this time Pierce also got there. "Joan?" he said, surprised.
She looked over. "Oh hey Pierce! Wow, I didn't expect to see you here, so much for splitting up," she laughed. "Anyone else here?"
Pierce shook his head.

He snorted aloud. please. You think slaughtering people in cold blood is amazing? This was not strictly true, as he'd made carefully sure not one of the agents died, so he just had the one persons blood on his hands. but one person was one person too many.

Of course not, It wasn't an agent who died. If you don't believe me, talk to- suddenlly he noticed Executioner and his two friends. "Oh crap," he said quietly. "Not Ex, not now.." he backed up about two steps. Why was it people from his past kept showing up? He didn't want to deal with Ex right now. Three on one, this was the only time he knew he'd lose. For a split second he wished he had his team backing him, but then pushed that thought away. Hangman was over. He wasn't going to fight Ex if he could help it.
CR-S01 was surprised by the steam, he didn't understand it. Agent Carlson hadn't told him about the gifteds and, for obvious reasons, he'd never operated on one.

Pierce, after a long pause, realised this chick wasn't going to explain this to everyone. Great, thanks alot, he thought, annoyed, before standing up. CR-S01 was surpised. How could they know? Agent Carlson told him the criminals had no idea they'd been discovered.

Tabitha's eyes widened. "What? Oh my god..." She appeared to be panicking, but she was really thinking frantically. She'd have to find some way to let the agents know...

Wesly smiled, he was going to get a chance to fight some more of the pricks who forced him here. " Guerrilla tactics seem like the best idea to me since we are outnumbered and aren't prepared...use the terrain to our advantage...ambushes... and maybe cutoff their supplies if this becomes prolonged... sounds like the best way to deal with these fuckers."

Xander nodded, his strategic mind planning in spite of himself. "They'll probably think they can use the trees to their own advantage, hiding in the foilage and such, but we can use this to our advantage. We could set the tops of the trees on fire before we even go in. This would burn any agent hiding in the tops of the trees and the smoke would force the rest out into a more open area so we'll have a visibility advantage," Then he stopped himself. He was not going down this road again. He didn't want to end up with another Ariel. But just this much, much to Xanders dismay, attracted Alex's attention.
Alex jerked around startled by Xanders voice. "Well if it isn't ol' Hangman," he said, and Emric's easy grin changed into a scowl as he cracked his knuckles together.
"Leave me alone Ex, I don't think now is the time," he said quietly,
Pierce just shook his head slightly, ignoring Raven entirley.
Joan smiled. "Both really good ideas. They'll be counting on the fact we have no strategy, so any sort of plan will come as a surprise to them. If we give them time to think things through and change their tactics, we're done. but a fast attack that demands immeadiate retaliation..." she trailed off hopefully.
But inside she was thinking Why the heck is it every gifted town I stop at gets raided by agents within days? Well, at least it's not my birthhday this time,
