"I was but I didn't do it," She said firmly. "They found my fingerprints at the house of the victim which is what made me a suspect, but I was at her house the day before she was murdered delivering a package for my mother. And I have an alibi for the night she was murdered. Anything else?"

Alaric 'forgot' to mention he himself had murdered several people. His favorite game of chase had been with Scott. That man had put up a really great fight. "I knew a girl who was murdered, once. She was great, then she was killed... I don't think murderers should live for years on death row before finally being executed."

"Why not? I don't really approve of the death penalty, period. Life in prison without possibility of parole should be more than enough," she sighed. "I'd make an exception for serial killers though,"

Alaric sighed. "I see your point. Either way, to take an innocent life is unforgivable," he said. That part wasn't a lie. None of his victims had been innocent by any means.
