Not for the first time that evening, Alexa wished she had super strength as well as speed. Unfortunately, she didn't, so for the last several hours, she'd been running around, attempting to find something to break her handcuffs with. She'd been unsuccessful.

"Then were screwed," she replied grimly.

After getting out of the shower and pulling on sweats, Gold walked out and looked out the window at the power line outside. "Good she's not here," he said aloud. "Maybe we'll finally get some sleep tonight. Damn Cyndicate,"

"Swearing is bad, Gold," Zinc chimed to annoy him.

"Yeah... That's reassuring," Jordan muttered.

"Yeah, well, thats how it is," she said.

Jordan just shrugged. "I know, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it," he replied with a grin.

Zinc smiled slightly at that.

"Very true," Amelia sighed. "Damn, it looks like it's getting late. We have to look for her tomorrow," she sighed, before continuing to dodge the obvious follow-up question. "If we were dealing with any other contractor we could go looking for her tonight, but she's never been found on aa road after sunset. Last time we had cops stopping every person they found on the street, just to make sure non of them were Arianna. We ended up finding -and killing, because nobody managed to get them back alive- six contractors this way, but no Arianna. Going out after dark for her is pointless,"

Jordan nodded. "Gotcha... What're we gonna do about Alexa?" he asked.

Amelia shrugged. "She's the kind of Contractor who's too scared to go far, the fact shes come in contact with us twice -the first time was before I met you- and she came away from both encounters worse off and yet she still sticks around, makes me think she's not one to be too overly concerned about. I suggest you get a good nights sleep and we can meet back at HQ in the morning,"

Jordan wasn't convinced. "Maybe she has another reason for staying," he muttered. "But, if you say so. See ya tomorrow."
