Basic Rules of the Forum
Proboard's rules - Proboards has a terms and conditions you must check to make your account. No breaking these terms.
Common Respect for All Members - We are all here to interact and have a good time. I don't expect everyone to get along but I do expect people to be civil on public boards. If you have a complaint about someone, report it or if you want it solved quickly send an admin a personal message and we will be with you shortly.
Use Proper Grammar and Spelling - We understand that everyone loves chat-speak but it can become difficult to read. No chat speak is allowed on the boards. Proper capitalization should be used, though use of it for emotions is accepted, entire paragraphs will be deleted.
Swearing - Colorful language is allowed during role play and the express emotions but if you are found to be offensive to post will be deleted.
No Advertising - This is only allowed in signatures and on our advertising thread. No where else.
No More Than Two Posts in a Row - This rule does not apply if the posts are two days apart. The thread leader or admin can make multiple posts, as for warnings and such.
No More Than One Accounts Per Member - If you are caught with a second account, the second account will be deleted when found. If you need to make a second account or you and another member share an IP address, contact the admin to make them aware of the situation.
Role Play Rules
Rated PG-13 - This forum is rated PG-13 for the respect of everyone though you may have any part of the role play over personal message as long as you have a summary of what happened if it is a public board.
No Chat Speak - Chat Speak is not allowed anywhere on this board unless the character might be texting or such but that MUST be stated in the post.
No Controlling Other Characters - Power Playing is not allowed, unless it is your character you have no right to control it. You may discuss with a person about deaths, fight scenes and such and if the person agrees you may.
Absences - If you are a current and active member of a role play and you are leaving for more than one week(one week being a week without replying) you must post on the 'goodbyes' board so your fellow role players know what's going on. On that, if you make a role play wait to long they can go to the suggestions thread and ask for your character to be taken over if it is for the good of the role play. To do this the thread made must have more than 50% of the role players agreeing on this movement.
Literacy - As stated above in the the basic rules, spelling and proper grammar is a must. To add on to that, proper sentence structure is required. We do accept that role playing is a way to personally grow in your writing but if the thread does not find your writing to be following the rules of the site you can be reported on the suggestions forum and removed from the role play unless your writing improves.
Chat Box Rules
Chat-Speak - Is allowed here though make sure others can read what you are saying.
No Spamming - Spamming will get all of your post deleted and you will receive a warning, or more depending on your past history.
Links - Links are allowed to pictures and videos as long as they follow the general board rating rating.
Joining - If you are on the c-box for more the two times a week you must have a TSE account or risk a ban.
Rule Breaking
Will result in a Warning, a short term ban, a slightly extended ban, long term ban, and life ban. If you are caught on another account while banned it will be extended. All deleted posts count as a warning in itself unless the original poster replies to the personal message sent reporting the deleted post.
Inactivity
Every month we do an active member sweep. If you have been inactive for a month without prior warning, your account will be put into a stage of limbo and you will be emailed. Your account will be kept for two months and if you do not reply then your account will be deleted.
